  • Summary

  • All episodes of this Audible Original podcast will be available on July 7th, 2022.

Audible’s bold new addition to the Sherlock Holmes universe, Moriarty: The Devils Game, dares to ask: What if Holmes’ most villainous nemesis was actually an innocent man?

Featuring Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings, Lost) in a riveting lead performance, Moriarty turns one of literature’s most famous rivalries on its head, recasting Professor James Moriarty as a desperate fugitive framed for murder–and hunted by dark forces who will stop at nothing to exploit his brilliance.

Moriarty finds the professor on the heels of an earth-shattering mathematical breakthrough–a formula so powerful, it can predict the future–and at the scene of a gruesome murder he must solve to prove his innocence. With London’s sprawling underworld as their battleground, Moriarty and Holmes match their peerless intellects to gain the ever-shifting upper hand. But as their duel escalates, so does the deadly cost of pursuing the truth. “What will it take to get your justice?” Dr. Watson asks an utterly ensnared Moriarty, “And if do you get it… what will you become?”

Vividly brought to life by a sensational cast and meticulously crafted sound design, Moriarty is a heart-pounding series filled with biting wit and shocking twists at every turn.

Listen closely - and assume nothing. The game is afoot.

Available in Dolby Atmos on Audible.

A fun listen and interesting reboot

Very good voice actors, fun interesting story of what if Mariarty was the hero and Holms the villain. Glad I listened it.

Audible you've got to be kidding!?!

Audible are you kidding me?? You want me to download and post my review for this story on each episode? Boy howdy that's not gonna happen you played 'em all in one lump and you get a review for that story!
I only have a passing acquaintance of the Sherlock Homes stories, and it's mostly from TV series and Movies...
But when Audible promised something new an alternate premise to Doyle's story "The Final Problem" I really couldn't resist. And I found that Charles Kindinger was brilliant! He took something classic, and with his muse crafted a devilishly wicked story making it new and shiny again. Essentially turning Professor Moriarty into our protagonist.
Dominic Monaghan did a fine job but as with all the Audible Original Podcasts I've listened to it always seems like someone gets too excited about the background maybe the foley guys and sometimes that makes it hard to hear the story.

Immersive, bold and faithful to both the genre and the legacy of the “Holmesian craft!”

Intriguing revision of Holmes and Moriarty stories

Excellent writing and great voice castings. If you like Sherlock Holmes, and don't mind old tales being revised, you'll enjoy this.

Loved this series!!

Such an innovative, modern take on something more historical -- in both medium and flipping who's been seen as the hero and who's seen as the villain. Truly wonderful plot, writing, performance. It's making me want to take in both more content on Sherlock Holmes and audiodramas. Brava and thank you to all involved collaborators!
