Bradley Whitford is a three-time Emmy Award winner for his work on The Handmaid’s Tale, Transparent, and The West Wing. I guess I forgot all about the scandal in the 50’s in the movie industry. But this brought up some of the interesting things pertaining to the Communist Party. Our country has been faced with obstacles back then and still continues to be faced with obstacles. FBI agents were certainly expected to give up a good portion of their life and Jack was personally effected. He did his job although he didn’t really believe in what he was doing and the outcome proved it in the end.

This is very well done. It tells a gripping story and tells it very well. It is a disturbing story, but also an extremely compelling one. It had me right from the start. It was like watching a movie, a thriller where you can’t take your eyes from the screen. It was that vivid. Good job, Audible! I hope there will be more of these.

Story wasn't overly detailed, a bit like light television fare rather than a good book. The most riveting piece was listening to Jon Hamm, made me want to rewatch Mad Men.

This was a phenomenal listen! I loved the entire series and the 1950s radio style completely enhanced the production. (When was the last time YOU heard a dial telephone? Never?) It is an important story about a very dark time in American history - one that needed to be told and needs to be heard. The actors were EXCELLENT. Bravo!

I started the first episode and was disappointed to hear the F bomb being dropped so often. After several days I picked it up again and listened and found that it was not a crude story with a lot of swearing. I listened through all the episodes and enjoyed it very much.
