what an awesome ride

This book series was so good and the narrator's did an amazing job. I cried at the end. definitely recommend this❤️

Excellent!

I received this audiobook for free in exchange for an unbiased review. That said, I really enjoyed this audiobook, and was glad I had the entire series of books. Although the story contained only a 3-4 month time frame, so much action was packed into that short time. Definitely a great story, and with an excellent narrator!

Wheel of Time-lite

Not sure if it’s because of Kramer and Reading doing the narrating, but there’s a lot of similarities to Wheel of Time. It’s not a bad thing. The story was enjoyable, and the performances were great. 5 books for 1 credit can’t be beat.

Great Series but there are a few story flaws

The main female character was a little too much of a one woman hero near the beginning But I am sooo glad that I held on through that part. This Series was amazing and the ending was just beautiful.
The other 2 biggest flaws are
1. They talk about the huge variety of demons but there are only ever the same 4 that come after them.
2. They learn a new spell but don't use it in times of need. Instead choose to sacrifice themselves.

4.5 stars in my opinion. Great series but not quite a 5 star Brandon Sanderson

good, but not epic

younger target audience would enjoy I feel. it was clean and the performance was great. just can't compare with authors such as Brandon Sanderson.

Took me a while to embrace Narration

This sis a really good listen and a GREAT deal for 1 credit. The more books that go on the better it gets

Almost great

You care somewhat about the characters, you dislike the bad guys, the magic system is kind of interesting and it is pretty believable. There are obvious lifts from Tolkien, Jordan, Sanderson and others, even including names, but this is more nostalgic than annoying. Excellent narration! Worth a listen.

Great intro to fantasy!

Michael and Kate amazing. The story did a great job following multiple perspectives without getting lost in the sauce. I'm a fan of Brandon Sanderson and you can see the influence here without Peel trying to be him. Nicely done easy read as well.

Not Bad

Not Bad, Killed some time. Great to fall asleep to. Would listen to again
