Keep my promises, wed the Princess, advert a catastrophe!

Imagine my luck when I'm transported to a fantasy world where magic is real, beautiful women are bountiful, and the blessing of a goddess creates endless opportunities. Yeah, it is one hell of a way to arrive. Unfortunately, I've got some work to do because my heroic actions just triggered the end of an age. With the help of some lovely new allies, we might just save the day or die trying.

Good new series

I definitely enjoyed this new series. I can't wait to start the new book. The only issue I had was why the goddess nuked his growth. But, even with that, it was a fun read.

Sloss does it again!

If there was a format for the HaremLit; "god/goddess sends a man from earth to their world because it needs a special person to save it or because he/she/it thinks this earthling can win their bet for them and the man is OP and gains in levels faster than possible for this world..."
This book would be that format.
BUT...
Just like the Iron Chef Dad on TikTok, Marcus Sloss took this "TV dinner" and turned it into a delicious gourmet meal.
I got this book for free with the expectation of an honest review.
And honestly, 5 stars.
A really fun and enjoyable book. Writing and narration, 5 stars.

Not sure Sloss can write a bad book

This is a great book, I particularly like the magic system. I wish it was a bit longer, some of the world changing elements seem to happen very quickly. It is well written tho, I just found myself surprised so much had happened so quickly.

A Must Read

Full disclosure I have read this book and loved this one and the second one of this series. When the audio came out I really hoped that the narrators would deliver.... and boy did they. Each person had a unique voice that helped identify them and even gave different races different accents that really help create a truly unique world. Definitely a must read and looking forward to the future of this audio series.

Definitely a good read

A very good start to the series that has a good balance between the romance and the plot. We have our MC who got sent to the new world, gets involved in the politics of the various races, and starts gathering their "princesses". There's also a good variety of combat and decent pacing.

One thing that really shines in this audiobook is the narration. I can't even find a single complaint, both narrators did a great job. The MC actually sounds like a normal human being, and the female voices are unique and well played.

What I'd maybe like more is to have certain "scenes" written from the female perspective, but that's about it.

Overall a fun read, will definitely check out the future books.

Excellent start to a new series!

Imagine a place where you must keep your work or else. Once again Marcus Sloss gives of a spicy story that is more story driven that spice driven. This book has a really good flow and is very well balanced. I can't say I was surprised but you can't always tell what yu're going to get with a new book series.

Even though I received a free code in exchange for an early and honest review, I thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. Totally worth a credit.

fantastic

I was really impressed with this style of isekai book. I was interesting and the fact it didn't take itself to serious was great. fun to read.

Fast not so furious?

It has been some time since I have read/listened to a Marcus Sloss book. From start to finish this book felt fast. Our hero is basically sent to another world and is told to do multiple very exact things. Our hero does these things and is rewarded. Not even halfway through the book and the MC had 3 devoted wives and was already making his way in the world. I feel like the story is solid and I'm def interested in the next book but it needs to slow down and do some more character development. The narrators for this book were excellent!
