Great read
This was a great listen, it has so many new and interesting moments that really grabs your attention.
In this book we get to see Silas start to realize just how much the world is going to change and how he adapts to it. Usually I can’t spot the ending a mile away in books but I’ll admit, this one threw me off and it was refreshing not figuring out the end.

Good story and character development, but overall a little short. There is also a decent amount of filler when it is least desired. Hopefully the next book is at least 5 hours longer.

a step slightly down, it's fine
it's a bit narratively scattered, first half is good but the back half has interesting narrative hooks that aren't really paid off properly and uneven storytelling so it losses some steam before the end.
