Positive advice without the preaching

I have been listening/watching the Money Guy podcast for about two years. I am amazed and uplifted by this content. I am left with a feeling of optimism and joy in the face of the Messy Middle.

I am glad to find financial advice that isn’t wrapped in the ugliness of evangelicalism or self-flagellation.

Even as with permanent disability, I feel like this gives me the tools I need for self sufficiency for my indefinite future.

A great guide for wealth.

I didn’t find the money guy until last year, fortunately did many of the steps he has in the FOO and I can tell you this works. Yes finding a purpose, your why is also most important in life. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get more out of money and be successful.

30 years to 7 Hours

This book wonderfully encapsulates 30 years of expertise into 7 hours of content rich guidance. I am an avid listener of the Money Guy Show, a proud owner of a Money Guy tumbler, and a proud reader/listener of this piece.
Brian’s ability to balance life experience with data driven insights makes this book very relatable and simple to follow. These tried and true concepts are more simple to understand than easy to implement, but such is life.
Brian, thank you for overcoming your personal challenges with writing this book and sharing these stories with the world.
If education is the gateway to self improvement, as it pertains to personal finance, I see this as a fine place to start.

I have listened to the Money Guys for years so I knew that this book would have a simple practical guide that is good for beginners. But I wasn't sure whether it would be redundant for a long time listener. However, I really enjoyed having all of the information together and listening in order.

Great book.

It is like a mature version of Dave Ramseys information. Even though I heard the majority of the information before, I still enjoyed listening to it.

Everyone should read this book!

This is the most comprehensive book on financial advice I've read to date. I'd recommend this book (and The Money Guy Show!) to EVERYONE, no matter what age - especially people that are looking to enjoy their retirement years and parents that want to help guide their children with building generational wealth. Preston's optimism on wealth building, no matter one's current circumstance, is inspiring.

If you are an avid Money Guy YouTube watcher… If you’re an avid Money Guy fan ….

Like I am you watch the Money Guy on YouTube or listen to the podcasts. Spoiler alert: there’s nothing new in this book. Everything here has been fully set forth on the Money Guy Show. It’s much shorter to simply listen to the book than spend hours listening to multiple episodes of the show but doing both is superfluous. If you follow his instructions you will get rich.

Stellar performance by Brian Preston!

This book was an excellent synopsis of Brian's Fnancial Order of Operations (FOO). The book was fun, entertaining, and made all of Brian's principles approachable to new listeners. I enjoyed the book so much that I but over a dozen hard copies to share with family and friends. If you consider yourself an optimizer or a financial nerd, this book is for you.
