Audible’s bold new addition to the Sherlock Holmes universe, Moriarty: The Devils Game, dares to ask: What if Holmes’ most villainous nemesis was actually an innocent man?

Featuring Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings, Lost) in a riveting lead performance, Moriarty turns one of literature’s most famous rivalries on its head, recasting Professor James Moriarty as a desperate fugitive framed for murder–and hunted by dark forces who will stop at nothing to exploit his brilliance.

Moriarty finds the professor on the heels of an earth-shattering mathematical breakthrough–a formula so powerful, it can predict the future–and at the scene of a gruesome murder he must solve to prove his innocence. With London’s sprawling underworld as their battleground, Moriarty and Holmes match their peerless intellects to gain the ever-shifting upper hand. But as their duel escalates, so does the deadly cost of pursuing the truth. “What will it take to get your justice?” Dr. Watson asks an utterly ensnared Moriarty, “And if do you get it… what will you become?”

Vividly brought to life by a sensational cast and meticulously crafted sound design, Moriarty is a heart-pounding series filled with biting wit and shocking twists at every turn.

Listen closely - and assume nothing. The game is afoot.

Loved it!

Interesting take on Sherlock Holmes. Looking forward to more "shows" like this, much better than an audio book.

more please, what a treat!

Generally I don't listen to many audio productions except on long car trips. I need to rethink that... This was a wonderful journey with strong acting/voices, great story, rich production quality and a completely shocking rewrite of some of the key characters -- in a believable way. It was hard to stop and now i wish i had more to enjoy (please do write some more!). In the great spirit of the best audiobooks i honestly was transported to the scenes -- and would love to have had this in video.

Fan of Sherlock (and Hobbitses, and Rose.

History is written by the victors

I flew this riveting performance in a single afternoon. The voice actors are perfect for their roles and bring each scene alive so well that at times it felt like I was watching a 5-hour movie in my head. This isn't just a Moriarty-sympathetic perspective on the familiar stories - this takes the premise of a history-is-written-by-the-victors type scenario, where the familiar stories are in fact twisted fabrications of the truth. Don't come expecting the characters from the original Sherlock stories to be as they are there. But for God's sake, don't let this story pass you by - it is a worthy and engrossing addition to the Sherlock Holmes universe that has me very much hoping for a sequel!

The Thin Line Between A Hero & A Villain

Wow, what a lovely series! I loved the twists in this classic tale. Where Moriarty was the hero, and Sherlock Holmes was the villain! Bravo to the cast and the production! Best $7.00 I have ever spend!
