Underwhelming
If you’re wanting a watered down version of Haunting Adeline this is it (kinda). The 🌶️ scenes weren’t too graphic and came mostly at the end of the book. The story didn’t make much sense and the main character wasn’t dynamic at all.

Definitely watered down on spice- storyline was kind of rough. I couldn’t connect with FMC or MMC. I hate to say it has aspects that seemed parallel to Haunting Adeline. But there just didn’t seem to be the same spark between the couple. It’s a very slow burn, which I’m ok with normally. However, the way the story is told it made it really hard to get into and through the book.

This story just seemed like a forced, more violent version of 50 Shades of Grey. Hayden is an unhinged character that reminds me of Christian if he wasn’t saved by the Greys… not impressed and won’t be reading/listening to the next one
