The overall story was very well told
it was a slow starting book but after the second chapter the book started moving a bit faster and more interesting

Disappointed
I have never had anything negative to say about L’Amour, but would go as far as saying I don’t think this book was written by him. I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but a combination of nuances in the story.
