I listened to this in one day. It was like spending a day with Whoopi and getting to know a bit more about her life. Highly recommend !

Appreciate Whoopi sharing the relationship with her mom. Made me reflect on memories of my mom who pasted in 2020. The bond with my mother is eternal and the appreciation once their no longer on this earth is beyond special. Thanks Whoopi!

I’ve always loved Whoopi, in every standup, movies, and talk shows. She says exactly what she feels.
No sugar coating.

She has such a down home spirit about her. You feel like she’s your best friend or family member.

What a beautiful memoir and homage to he mother and brother. I felt like a good friend having a heartfelt conversation. I loved listening to and learning about the woman who is the star, yet always her own person first

This was such a great book! I listened to the audiobook and it felt like I was having a real conversation with Whoopi Goldberg! The stories she told, the way she would laugh as if she was reliving that particular moment, the little jingles she would say, all brought her storytelling to life like she let me in on her life. Everyone should read or listen. I recommend the audio book so you can get the true experience of who she is!
