I really enjoyed Lucinda Riley’s technique of building characters and intrigue. I can see each book is going to have it’s touch of mystery and still a few dangling questions left unanswered. I’m looking forward to reading the other books about all the sisters who obviously have very different personalities. Each will hold its own as they all came from different places and different circumstances. Yet they all have a common denominator. Excellent writing!!!

Hard to put this book down and stop listening

What a wonderful story, intriguing, entertaining, and fun. It is the first in the series and I am looking forward to reading the whole series.

The story was beautifully written

I love knowing there is so much more to this story and can't wait for the twists and turns to this family I know is coming.

Loved it.

A beautiful meshing of worlds, connection of sisters, mystery of adoptive families, past, present and further. I didn’t care for the outrageously rich aspect, though I suppose it enabled the characters to suit their fancies and be able to afford the type of lifestyle that got them all over the world in very little time and gave them access to things mere mortals wouldn’t normally have. Overall a quality read. Looking forward to the next book.
