Clare and Henry have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was 36. They were married when Clare was 23 and Henry was 31. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself misplaced in time, pulled to moments of emotional gravity from his life, past and future. His disappearances are spontaneous, his experiences unpredictable, alternately harrowing and amusing.

The very strange but nevertheless true story of the dark underbelly of a 1960s hippie utopia. Laurel Canyon in the 1960s and early 1970s was a magical place where a dizzying array of musical artists congregated to create much of the music that provided the soundtrack to those turbulent times. Story
Center of the YOUniverse is an out-of-this-world spectacle starring Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski with music, laughter, and (probably) the salvation of humanity from its self-inflicted doom. Unaware of just how brightly the other one shines, Tituss and Jane will attempt the impossible: a double-booking. In a unique blend of song and storytelling, they’ll stop at nothing to upstage each other and steal the spotlight…until they realize the true purpose of being ridiculously attractive and having immeasureble talent: to unite and heal the world.

Story
At last, the definitive audiobook about perhaps the best cabin crew dramedy ever filmed: View from the Top starring Gwyneth Paltrow. In Ayoade on Top, Richard Ayoade, perhaps one of the most 'insubstantial' people of our age, takes us on a journey from Peckham to Paris by way of Nevada and other places we don't care about. It's a journey deep within, in a way that's respectful and non-invasive; a journey for which we will all pay a heavy price, even if you've waited for the smaller paperback edition. Ayoade argues for the canonisation of this brutal masterpiece.

From age 11, in 1974, until she left the show, in 1981, Melissa Anderson literally grew up before the viewers of Little House on the Prairie. Melissa, as Mary, is remembered by many as the blind sister - and she was the only actor in the series to be nominated for an Emmy. In The Way I See It, she takes listeners onto the set and inside the world of the iconic series created by Michael Landon, who, Melissa discovered, was not perfect, as much as he tried to be. In this memoir she also shares her memories of working with guest stars like Todd Bridges, Mariette Hartley, Sean Penn, Patricia Neal, and Johnny Cash.

When her best friend loses her battle with cancer, Annie is acting in uncharacteristic ways, seemingly less concerned than ever about what her friends and neighbors think of her - a troubling development in her daughter’s eyes. Full look into a topical subject
Production and acting are are awesome. Writing and story are full and interesting. I appreciate the depiction of the interracial couples and their struggles within. The characters are more than that too - they’re full human beings. I actually would have appreciated more of that. There’s something a little drab about the story as it progresses. But it doesn’t kill it. Definitely worth a listen.

The lies they tell themselves
Great overall performance from the characters. I do not relate to this particular story nor it would be one that I'd normally be drawn to. This play points out the many layers to intimate relationships, cultural identity, and economic statuses in modern society. It has profanity but it is not so excessive not to lose the storyline.

Excellent Story!
The characters were so real! This is the story of Lydia and how she struggles to come to terms with decisions and circumstances from her past. Even when the characters are way off base in terms of what they say, you smile and shake your head because what they say sounds like someone we know, someone we've met or even someone we've been at some point on our own journey!

It’s good— needs a bit more work.
Though not written fir this moment in time, it sure sits well in it. At times it was a bit in the nose, jumped to quickly into high emotions, I didn’t believe.
At times it pulled me in and then at other times, I was saying aloud, I don’t believe this at all? And almost stopped it.
It has something to say, I think it needs more refining and possibly adding more scenes or dialogue to help keep me in the story. It had these jump ahead moments where it felt like the writer didn’t know how to live the storyline at least a handful of times and again that’s where i was pulled completely out of the story.
Not sure if I’d pay to see it in stage, maybe.
But as apart of my membership, it was nit a wasted of 2 hours. I’d give it a solid C+
