This was an audio re-read and these narrators brought an already amazing story to life. Fantastic narrators. Jakobi Diem had me melting!! 🤗🤗

Emotional, slow burn, maddening and epic

I've been putting off reading this book because of how emotional I have heard it was. Something compelled me to this series that I couldn't ignore.

If you love a slow burn romance, one that can be maddening at times, but results in fireworks that are out of this world, Grip is the book for you.

The narration completely immerses you in the world of Grip and Bristol. Truly terrific performances by both narrators.

Oh my goodness I am floored! Grip is the raw, emotional, and inspirational story of an interracial couple’s determination to love, live and be happy with one another❣️ The betrayals, misunderstandings and covetousness of those involved were inspiring to all who paid attention. Jakobi Diem’s narration and deep, scratchy sexy voice is panty melting! Maxine Mitchell was excellent with her narration making you feel every emotion❣️I loved this audiobook! 5stars and counting 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩❣️

Great characters, hot romance

What an epic love story, the characters are deep, and struggle with real problems. Will definitely be reading more from the author.

I really tried not to like this book!

My own implicit bias had me thinking the worst when I heard the book sample and read the synopsis: poor black man makes it out of the hood and becomes successful then dates/marries white (or so I thought). This book is an example of love in it's pure form. I found myself midway through the book yelling at Bristol because she wouldn't give Grip a chance, lol (how's that for a change of heart). The book is very well written and read. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Love conquers all

I truly enjoyed how they each found their persons and willing to love honestly, open heartedly and respectfully. This was amazing. I cannot wait to read the next one!

I read this book and completely stole my heart. Having this in audio is such a treat for us bookworm.
Absolutely amazing. Jakobi nailed Grip his strong persona, the swagger, that velvet naughty sensual voice. Just DAAAAAAMN Maxine as Bristol is a perfect match also. All her strong will, commanding presence and fierce love is portrayed to perfection. You can't get enough of this book. You truly get to experience all the feelings. When a book is as powerful as Grip having the audio is the best way to transport yourself in the story. With this audiobook you will get SENCE OVERLOAD.

wow! life changing

They say that reading can take you place and change your perspective on life. This is one that tackled many sensitive subjects in one book and exposed my way of thinking on many leaves and offered me an alternative way of thinking in my own personal life.

Could be a movie

This book could definitely be a movie. I wish the romance scenes were a little more steamy. It definitely wasnt as predictable as I thought it would be. But it was a good book

Jakobi is Great

I was excited to get into this book
I love all things Jakobi, but the female voice throws the whole story off. I couldn't get into it with her so I didn't even finish the book
