This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Absolutely depressing story
A great narration of a story that I found no pleasure in at all. I am happy to know that the author found closure (or something similar) by writing her story but I couldn't stand the continuous piling on of depressing episodes of her childhood (which I also have to question how anybody remembers stuff that happened at the age of 5 to this detail). For me, it is a wasted credit and I cannot recommend it.
