Publisher's summary
Children will laugh at these funny adventure stories from Bill Myers, bestselling author of McGee and Me, all while learning Christian character and godly wisdom. Join Wally on four hilarious, mishap-filled adventures as he faces a bully at camp, gets eaten by an alien in a film, competes in a hot-air balloon race, and plunges over a killer waterfall.
This audiobook collection for 7- to 10-year-olds includes the first four novels from The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle fiction series:
- My Life as a Smashed Burrito with Extra Hot Sauce only stops being outrageous long enough to share important truths about fear, foolish pride, and God.
- My Life as Alien Monster Bait keeps young listeners laughing while learning about who it really is who deserves “star treatment.”
- My Life as a Broken Bungee Cord keeps listeners on the edge of their seats as one calamity builds upon another until, with his life on the line, Wally learns what it means to fully put his trust in God.
- My Life as Crocodile Junk Food keeps listeners laughing as Wally stumbles into a whole new set of impossible (and man-eating) predicaments … until he finally understands the need and joy of sharing Jesus Christ with others.
Your kids will have a blast listening to Wally’s adventures as they discover the importance of living with the love and wisdom of Christ.

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Story
Ophelia Harrison used to live in a small house in the Georgia countryside. But that was before the night in November 1922, and the cruel act that took her home and her father from her. Which was the same night that Ophie learned she can see ghosts. Now Ophie and her mother are living in Pittsburgh with relatives they barely know. In the hopes of earning enough money to get their own place, Mama has gotten Ophie a job as a maid in the same old manor house where she works.

My daughter loves them!
She can't get enough of them - well written, cute, good morals as well! I'd say for ages 5+ if you're O.K with some mentions of the word death.

Excellent books by Bill Myers!
I read this when I was much younger and decided to revisit this as an adult. I was dying laughing with the first book of the series, “my life as a smashed burrito with extra hot sauce” and would encourage everyone to pick up this audible book! Loved every minute of it! Thanks Bill Myers for lending your own voice to this series and hope you complete it for all your Wally McDougall books!
