A little bit of everything

Some really funny moments, great chemistry, delicious angst, and an engaging plot. Kitty has a lot to work through and it was very satisfying to watch her grow. Leo was a dream friend/lover and Kitty’s work family was wonderful.

I have been reading a lot of romance novels that show the necessity of being vulnerable, which we don't like to do, for obvious reasons.
The Rebound was soooo good. Leanne Slade took great care with the emotional development of these characters.
We aren't so different in wanting meaningful relationships but also guardingbour hearts.
Well done.

Wow! I thought I preferred much steamier stories but the way this one left to the imagination was actually very welcome! I really loved the characters in this story. They felt very real. I felt so badly for Kitty and what she dealt with regarding her parents. I don't want to spoil anything but the relationships felt so natural and true to life. I can't wait to listen again!

Wanted to echo what others have said- this is a really good book. It touches on real feelings and real(ish) situations, with believable outcomes.
If it’s a fairy tale, it’s one grounded in the experiences of someone who has been through trying circumstances and come out stronger.
Think Bridget Jones, but less whiney, and with a stronger main character.
The narrator was spot on too.
