Publisher's summary

My name is Alexis, though everyone calls me Lexie. I'm a Necromancer. I see the dead, talk to them, and help them move on. Well, I used to. Now, with the Veil closed, I'm the only way for a soul to cross over. It's wearing me out, and according to my doctor, it's going to kill me.

I don't know how to tell the guys. I'm working on it, but there is so much going on right now; Isaac's acting strange, Ethan's worried that his brother isn't eating or sleeping, Asher's dad is back, and Tara is still snooping around my bedroom.

My symptoms are getting worse, and we're running out of time. For everyone.

Intense

This book in the series is pretty intense and has some creepy parts that are very well written. This whole book is a bit of an emotional roller coaster. There is fear, tears, smiles and a few moment I yelled at the characters. If you have liked the other books in the series you will like this one. The ending is soooo well done! I can’t wait to read the next book. The narrators did very will and are very fun to listen to. Would definitely recommend.

Best book of seriesSo far!

Great addition to series, especially since I was about give up on it but this book started show more movement on the relationships and more importantly the overall fantasy world and storyline created by author.
Hopefully next book moves forward as well!
Improved from last book, but still there is the unfortunate redundantly silly attitude of Lexi for me. One minute Lexi is the mature voice of reason, the next she acts like a 12yr old around boys, and the pet names started getting icky for me...like something a mother would give to a child. The boys have seen her naked, bruised and beaten but yet if she wears shorts that are MID thigh she is weirded out?? Come on... if she lived or was raised in some sort of religious compound then maybe but really...!
I know this series is loved by many and I do really like it. However the previous books were getting annoying with what I mentioned above along with the over descriptive moments (and I LOVE descriptive scenes) like describing in detail every single meal everyone eats or chapters that build up a scenario for it to become meaningless and by that I mean, if you could remove it, it wouldn’t be missed in story.
Now with that negativity done- please note I gave high ratings and have stuck with series. I’ve got the hope that this this series moves forward in all aspects, we need see where Lexi’s journey with her gifts takes her, or at very least hints at it.

I loved it

The relationships are developing painfully slowly and they all need to work on their communication skills. This is the first reverse harem book that I've read where the guys aren't automatically okay with sharing the love interest, which feels much more realistic. I'm worried that they're all going to end up feeling betrayed by Lexie. She hasn't exactly lied to them but she hasn't been completely honest either. Even though I really wish that she romance would progress more, I am completely absorbed in this world and with these characters. They have all been through so much and I love the way they support each other. I really enjoyed getting more of the guys points of view throughout the book, instead of just at the end. Both narrators were awesome. I can't wait to listen to the next one.

Whew...

Goodness.... that was a heck of a ride. I cried legit big ole baby tears multiple times. I literally laughed out loud and people in my office probably think I’m crazy now. It was 10000% worth it!
I love the story and how BL has taken her time letting Lexie and all the guys relationships develop. It wasn’t an instant love like we see so often these days, but friendship that grew after they experienced hardships and built trust with each other. I love it so hard, but not gonna lie I LIVED for the tiny sexy moments that we saw peeks of in this book and the last. Boy am I ready for it to get hot and heavy between all of them! 😍
This series will break you, remake you, then do it all over again for the thrills and chills of it. It’s absolutely one of my all time favorites now.

Amazing !!!

B.L Brunnemer I don’t know how you keep doing this but I am so thankful you do. The Veil Diaries is hands down my favorite series. Each book just gets better and better.
I loved the fact that we got to see the guys POV all throughout the book this time around. It definitely made for more engaging read.
You are absolutely amazing B.L Brunnemer, keep up the great work.

Best book so far in the series

The narrating was awesome as normal. The character development for the boys was phenomenal. I wish I was Lexi... but not Lexi. I just want her boys...lol. but seriously, there is so much relationship development throughout this story. Bonus, is the incorporation of characters from found...giving even more insight about Evelyn... which was awesome!
