We're getting to that time of year where the college football preview magazines for the upcoming season are coming out and because of that Athlon Sports got some coaches on record on what they expect from Michigan football this year. How their behind-the-scenes analysis either mirrors or rivals what we believe the new-look, Sherrone Moore-led Wolverines to be.

A new book is coming out on Michigan football and there's an excerpt of a chapter about Jim Harbaugh leaving Michigan, spanning from the time the NCAA started investigating and the interim between the national championship game and when he accepted the Chargers job.

Some media outlets are proclaiming that, due to what it says in the excerpt, Warde Manuel is why Jim Harbaugh left Ann Arbor for Los Angeles. But if that's what you think, you're not reading what was said clearly. We delve deeper, peeling back layers of the onion to show really who was at fault. We also revisit some aspects of the Connor Stalions saga and share some inside intel (which we may or may not have shared before -- we cannot remember).
