Story
The plane is jam-packed. Every seat is taken. So of course the flight is delayed! Flight attendant Allegra Patel likes her job—she’s generally happy with her life, even if she can’t figure out why she hooks up with a man she barely speaks to—but today is her twenty-eighth birthday. She can think of plenty of things she’d rather be doing than placating a bunch of grumpy passengers.

Story
Kidnappers grabbed Jenna in broad daylight, right in front of her children and their horrified classmates. Her family was issued an insane ransom demand: $25 million in cash and jewels, payable by the end of the school day, otherwise they’ll never see her again. As Jenna’s mother scrambles to gather the money, detectives Mo Butler and George Ortega follow the trail of the kidnappers, which will lead them through a sordid landscape of jealous lovers, broken dreamers, and twisted schemers. But every second counts, and there’s one thing Jenna Wade doesn’t have: very much time.

Story
For the last 100,000 years, we Sapiens have accumulated enormous power. But despite all our discoveries, inventions, and conquests, we now find ourselves in an existential crisis. The world is on the verge of ecological collapse. Misinformation abounds. And we are rushing headlong into the age of AI—a new information network that threatens to annihilate us. For all that we have accomplished, why are we so self-destructive? Nexus looks through the long lens of human history to consider how the flow of information has shaped us, and our world.

it was worthwhile to listen to. there were two chapters that really didn't like but it was still interesting to listen to the other chapters and what people are going to especially comedians.

I've listened to worse!
It is a freebie. There may be as many as 10 good laugh lines on the 4 hours and 16 minutes which is one every 25 minutes. I've lived in England and I appreciate good Brit humor. It can't be found here.

Fun Conversations
The lighter side of the pandemic with comedians. Fun listen. Hear about the lives of these comedians during the international health crisis. They don't take themselves too seriously.

Very entertaining
I wasn't familiar with most of these comedians, but I enjoyed hearing about their lockdown experiences in the UK. I also walked while I listened to it, so my additional comments in parentheses below were added later.
Chapter 1: Sarah Millican & Jason Manford
Chapter 2: Dawn French & Jennifer Saunders
Chapter 3: Kurupt FM (These guys were probably my favorite. They had me laughing out loud.)
Chapter 4: Jimmy Carr & Katherine Ryan
Chapter 5: Simon Pegg & Nick Frost (These are the only two British comedians that I knew from their past feature film work.)
Chapter 6: Rob Delaney & Sharon Horgan
Chapter 7: Tez Ilyas & Sindhu Vee (The guy's stories about his mom's adjacent fame cracked me up.)
Chapter 8: Harry Enfield & Paul Whitehouse

Thank for making me laugh
What a great freebie. Stars just being silly on the phone to each other. Talking about their families. Made me smile and laugh.
I didn't really get the Karupt FM crew as they are new to me but I'm going to look them up.

Worse than Bad, It's Boring
Have you ever wanted to listen to your boring neighbors talk about how much they dislike the lockdown?
Have you ever asked yourself what do comedians do when they're not being funny?
This is just a group of normal people talking about the lockdown with no particular structure or plan. Very little of it is even amusing, much less entertaining.
Instead, checkout Punchlines by Audible. That one had me in stitches for hours!
