茉莉子は、個室の壁に穴が開いていて、隣の個室を覗き見られることに気付く。
その先には、普段は決して見ることのない光景が広がっていた……。
そしてそれは、これから身を投じる世界への、入り口でもあった。
社会的な地位も抜群の容姿も兼ね備えた茉莉子であったが、夫との関係は上手くいっていなかった。
