Publisher's summary

In Because We Belong Ian and Francesca return to reignite the exquisite passions that drew them together, and to finally face the intimate secrets that threatened to separate them forever. The secrets of an inescapable past that was one man's darkest mystery - a darkness that seduced one woman and forever held her spellbound with forbidden desire. The conclusion I was hoping for!

I was very surprised at first to hear a new narrator since I skipped the second book from lack of interest and crap reviews as well as because I don't think I've ever heard that on audible when the two characters already have one narrator established. I noticed that these books might have been re released or something and that might be why? Either way, I can understand the change in narration, this narrator was much better. It was odd at first that Ian's accent was gone completely, but I remembered in the beginning of the first book how Francesca said something to he effect of Ian sounding like an American and discussing losing the British accent as well as the French or something like that so it did make some cohesive sense. Ian's voice sounded kind of like a bad guy's would at first to me, sort of too nasally but I grew to like it. The story was very long, and there was a whole lot of heartache and very dramatic plot points fused in but it worked somehow without making it feel like we were going in circles too much. I was happy to get a real conclusion since I finished the first book and was so irritated at the abruptness of the ending, this was much better and gave some clarity as well as closure to these characters' tumultuous lives. I thought it a tad strange that Kam seemingly wanted nothing more than to harm and belittle Ian and then out of nowhere flipped the script at the end like that but I was okay with it, just thrown a bit at the big change in him. Seemed ironic to be helping Ian and Francesca out of a situation he had them in just hours beforehand, even if the actual intention wasn't there. Would of liked to hear more about him, and heck he could of even had his own story with the uniqueness of his life, I don't think I've ever heard anything remotely close to what he had gone through in a novel before. At any rate, an excellent book that made me glad I listened to it.

Edit: Amazingly enough, I've just seen that there is indeed a 4th book and who else but Kam is the protagonist in it?! Amazing that the author did that, it's like she knew just what the reader would want and supplied it on a silver platter. I suppose that means it's not all over yet for the series!

Very, Very Good

This book was hot it started great and ended great. I love that Francesca didn't give up on Ian and how she didn't fall for his cousins game I hated Gerard and what he tried to do to Ian I love a happy ending. I also loved the narration

Terrible Narrator

I love this series but the narrator for this book is beyond terrible. It was like listening to nails on a chalk board to listen to this book.
