Over 18 years of age only.

The narration was okay, but the males needed a masculine voice and sounded way to feminine.

The story line was somewhat lacking although that is to be expected most times with erotica. However, with erotica you expect explicit details during the naughty bits and this novel was also lacking in that arena.

Over all the book is okay, but nowhere near one of my favorite reads.

enjoyed it.

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: yes
Was there anything that didn't work for me? I have lots of questions and would like to see this developed into a full length novel. It has great potential, but there just wasn't enough information and back story.

Trinity Blacio is an unknown author to me, and to be honest, it was the cover art that got my attention. I'd only read the publishers summary and not any of the reviews so I went into this with no expectations and I was totally surprised. I really enjoyed this book. I've learnt not to expect much character development or background on stories that run less than about 5 hours, so there isn't a lot of depth and if you don't analyse the story any further than the surface, its pure fantasy and I found it entertaining (which is all i'm really looking for in a story of this length). Would I like to know more about Frank and his guys - of course I would, do I question some of Whitney's actions - yes I do , but in the grand scheme of things does it matter? not at all - Frankentstein's submissive was a new spin on an old classic, I enjoyed it and I look forward to more from this series.

Narrator comment: Michelle Jones has done a reasonable job narrating this book. I had no problem distinguishing characters or feeling the emotions of the story.

Frankensteins Submissive

I recieved this book from the author for free and give my review voluntarily. I originally questioned if I was going to like it but I did it pulled me in with in the first 5 minutes and I had to finish in one sitting. I fell for the charaters and look forward to the next books in the series.

Frankenstein’s Submissive

This book brings listeners a new twist on the Frankenstein story. It is full of magic and creatures of the night. There is action and sexual tension right from the start. A fast-paced story that brings you into a new world full of sex and action. I would have liked a bit more character development on Frank’s men as they are important characters but don’t seem to have their own times to shine. Narrator Michelle Jones does a good hob of keeping the story flowing and the listener engaged.

Paranormal with a twist

Paranormal exotica melds the ordinary with what you thought couldn't be worked over anymore. A fun listen well done by Michelle Jones as voice actor.

The Prophecy of Frank

I was surprised to see what direction this took. A witch is bitten and saved by the mythical Frankenstein who is really part man, part machine and part wolf? And the witches pass on a prophecy to each female born that some day some girl will be his mate... I simplified that, and there’s more to his background and creator, but it all happens in under 3 hours.
I think the idea behind the story’s conception has some merit and with work could be the start to an interesting take on shifter lore. But even though I was entertained, this doesn’t make the cut for a good series start. Too much with too little information and background.
Michelle Jones has a breathy young voice, and reads a bit slow. I liked her voice but not for this book.

I do Applause the Attempt! 👏🏻

Mildly entertaining

The title and publisher's blurb promised more than was actually given. The premise seemed great fun to me, and the sex scenes are steamy enough. However, the author attempts to write an actual fantasy story around those scenes, and it's very clear that is not her forte. I've been a longtime and avid SF & fantasy fan, and this story falls way short of a good genre piece. There are many gaping plot holes, the main character makes incomprehensible decisions and it's not clear at all how she goes from "who are these weird threatening guys" to eternal love and sex in about one paragraph.

Also, although I usually like reverse harem themes well enough when the harem consists of actual individual personalities, in this story it really comes down to just Frank and some named-but-anonymous sidekicks. Wished they'd had some character traits of their own, that would have made it much more interesting.

On the plus side, it's short enough to make for a mildly entertaining intermezzo in a busy schedule.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this review voluntarily.
