Interesting Story

I don't like time travel books, but I took a chance on this one. I enjoyed it. I might have to go back and listen to books 1-3.

Unexpected twist. Very romantic.

I really enjoyed this book. It seemed like it was missing an explanation on how she time traveled. The story was very good. I didn't like the start where the main character made out with loose chits. When he rushed out I couldn't help thinking I bet his face stinks... after i got over that, it had great scenes though i wonder if the author struggled to develop the scene after bringing up she was also a time traveler. I don't know what value that brought to the story, i think i would have preferred Clansmen daughter that united kingdoms. If she came from the future we would have known of the Scottish fate, seems to copy a Netflix series Outlander even in last name and witch ideology through time travel. I think it was a great story, but would have been fine without the time traveler or witch theme.

Meh

It is not a bad story but it is not a particularly good one either. It’s definitely on the boring side. I’d rate it a 2.5, but I’ll round up to a 3 since the narrator does a good job. I’ve read worse highland romance stories. Eliza Knight has written better stories.

Had a problem with it.

Love the narrator, and the characters except this authors sex scenes and words used is more like something from porn not your typical romance love storys. I guess the one thing I could not stand was the word cunt used too much . I could stand your little cunny when they were making love but the words and actions was a little overboard for two people falling in love and seem to really nice and big hearts, kinda ruined it for me.

Good start, but ending is too abrupt

I was all ready to settle down to a good story. The main characters started off in a promising way, but no sooner did the plot really get interesting than it suddenly ended. Frustratingly premature!

Ok story

Good story-not riveting but easy to listen to. Great narrator. He keeps the characters sounding different from each other. Basic love story.

this was a let down

I enjoyed this book, up until the end. The entire book had a lack of substantial background information about the heroine, then it was nonsensically thrown at you right at the end, making no sense to me at all.

Terrible Writing

Ugh! Odd disconnected writing, the narrative jumps around all over the place. Careens through cliche after cliche. The opening scene is vulgar rather than sexy. Couldn't make it past 30 minutes, I can't imagine how this has managed to receive 4.4 stars! Overall quite ham-handed writing.

Should've read the reviews

The performance, the writing were al both a let down. I wish I had read the reviews first because this was time I wish I could get back.
