Crystal never dreamed her engagement would end this way: With her fiancé breaking her heart the day of the wedding...and his best man stepping in to mend it. Now she's about to embark on her dream honeymoon with the sinfully sexy best man. Great for flowing juices!

Lots of kinky sex. Sometimes not sure as to who did what to whom! A fun listen.

Worst narrator I have ever come across!!

If you could sum up Insatiable in three words, what would they be?

Great love story - but narrator sucks

Would you be willing to try another book from Opal Carew? Why or why not?

Yes of course - Opal writes wonderful books.

Would you be willing to try another one of Nina Carlisle’s performances?

Never in a million years - she narrates like she is reading a text book - no emotion whatsoever so it makes the book (as great as it is) hard to get into when the narrator has a flat unemotional voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Wanted to but narrator turned me off.

Any additional comments?

Ms. Carisle has no emotion in her voice and reads like she is reading the newspaper or a text book - perhaps she should try narrating other types of books and stay away from erotic romance.

good story. terrible performance

What made the experience of listening to Insatiable the most enjoyable?

Story was good.

What didn’t you like about Nina Carlisle’s performance?

Terrible. Total sounded like she was reciting a first grade book. No emotion at all.

Any additional comments?

Don't use this performer again.

BOOOR-RING & Implausible

I like erotica, but this is some of the worst. And to make matters worse, Nina Carlisle must be the most bored-sounding narrator in the world. And for erotica, that is a death match if I ever heard of one. Where there's suppose to be passion and lust, Ms. Carlisle sounds like she would prefer to be filing her nails. I think the premise was okay, but the execution failed on every letter. When I start fast-forwarding through erotica, that's a sure sign that something is failing...serioiusly. I thought it would get better, but NO. Nothing was redeeming from beginning to end. And the storyline was so implausible. There were parts that could happen, but much of the dialogue and how people reacted was hard to fathom. So, buy at your own risk.

Dumb plot - just group sex

This book starts with 2 straight guys in love with same woman;she is engaged to one and the other confesses his feelings before the wedding. Okay, there was potential for drama and romance. 7 days later, both friends are having sex with each other plus threesomes with the fiance and group sex with another couple. I found the drastic change in character behavior too unbelievable.

POD People come get Nnia Carlisle

For those of you that watch sic fi movies you will understand the pod people. No emotion !!!
This lady should be put on the never list. I listen to the book once and then tried again. It might be a great book but the lady that narrated it is mono toned. It is the worst case I have ever heard. I put a post it note on computer so that I never get another book that she is the person that lends her voice to. Why anyone would pay her to kill their book is beyond me.

I Could Have Read this WIth More Emotion

Would you try another book from Opal Carew and/or Nina Carlisle?

No, Nina Carlisle was just awful, her voice was too monotone for a book narrator. She had no inflection to her voice until Chapter 12 then it was a little better (that;s why I gave 2 stars instead of one). There were 3 main characters - 2 of them men and she didnt even deepen her voice fr those parts.

Would you recommend Insatiable to your friends? Why or why not?

No, because of the narration.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Nina Carlisle?

Clarrisa Knightly or Grace Grant, plus a man to do the male parts...well anybody really - even a man would have been better.

Was Insatiable worth the listening time?

It was a good thing I listened to this at work because if it had been at home where I was not busy I couldn't have tolerated the book and its narration.

Any additional comments?

The narration truly ruined the book for me. The story would have been better with a man and woman narrating it.
