Publisher's summary

Praised by number one New York Times best-selling author Lauren Blakely as "Passionate, emotional and uplifting!", contemporary romance author Sarah Robinson brings listeners a new stand-alone novel set in the glamorous hills of Hollywood and tackling challenging themes like the intersection of sexuality and female empowerment.

Ben Lawson is making a comeback....

After a few tabloid headlines, they think they know me. They don't know a damn thing. As CEO of a movie production company, I'll show them who I really am when we hit it big at the box office. My ex thought her smear tactics would ruin me, but I'm unbreakable. Rising from the debris, I swore I'd never let a woman distract me like that again. But then, my leading actress walked on the set and changed everything.

Seductive, sexy, and unapologetic, Aria Rose could break me. I wanted to help her, protect her...love her. Instead, I destroyed her.

Aria Rose is baring it all....

I knew better. I knew not to trust another Hollywood heartthrob with a reputation like his. He was my boss and became my ruin. I should have stayed far away from him. Ben Lawson promised me the world. He even promised me his heart. But he destroyed everything - my heart, my career, us.

If you enjoy Nudes, preorder the next book in the series, Bare, about Aria's younger sister, coming February 2018!

Really good story

I really loved this story! I've read some other books by this author, and this is definitely my favorite so far. I didn't recognise the names of the narrators, but they both did a great job.

Sweet & sexy with a moral to this story

I really loved this book. Some serious sex appeal and a lot of romance and a moral that all women can relate to, young and old.

The narrators were great. They portrayed the characters so perfectly. I really enjoyed their performance.

excellent story line with dual narration.

I like both reader's tone, pace, enunciation and emotion. I liked the portrayal of a strong woman able to overcome stereotypes and win admiration on ability and talent.

✫✫ 5 Stars ✫✫

I loved this book! Not only was the romance great but the message in this book is very powerful! I love how the author was able to mix such a fun, sweet and sexy love story with a serious and real issue that I think most women can relate too! Bravo Sarah Robinson!

Aria was a great character, she is real and has real insecurities even if she is in Hollywood. Ben made me swoon from the first conversation! The chemistry between these two was off the charts from the very beginning! Their relationship was based on the "real" people they are inside and not the people that Hollywood makes them out to be and that really helped me feel the love!
Without giving away spoilers I was in tears when the "Big Thing" happened and they were tears of joy and triumph! I love seeing people fight back in a positive way! I highly recommend this book because of the way it left me feeling when it was over. I can't wait to see what Bare is about, it's already on my Audible wish list.

The narration was fantastic! These two both did a great job on both the male & female characters and there voices really went well together. Great casting choice! I'm already on the hunt for more of their work!

She turned her demise into her birth.

Aria Rose got a big break was riding high, thought all was going her way. She even thought she had found the man of her dreams, until a scorned ex causes a scandal which should have been her demise, but Aria turns it around and makes a positive out of the situation.
I enjoyed this story. Aria Rose is so like her last name, she grows from a budding rose into a full blown bloom.
I also enjoyed the narrators for this book this was my first time hearing them.

Loved it!

Would you listen to Nudes again? Why?

I'm currently obsessed with all things Hollywood. So this book immediately grasped my attention. I was not disappointed.

What did you like best about this story?

It was so fun to read and with quite a few emotional moments that I did not expect. So relevant with what is going on in today's society. I am a fan of Sarah Robinson but I have to say this might be my favorite book of hers to date. I laughed, fell in love and even cried a few times. This story is a must read!

Which character – as performed by Sasha Dunbrooke and Jean Paul Mordrake – was your favorite?

I enjoyed the narration. It brought the characters to life for me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Amazing

I loved this story so much. It has Hollywood movie making ins and outs. On set Romance problems and speculation. The ideas of true love and scandal are ever present. Ben and Aria could have been so good together until those photos. This story gets in some real life messages that are on point what a great addition. My first by this author but not my last. The narration was excellent as well.

My opposite takeaway of what the book intended 🙃

By the end, the book is simply a pedestal to preach about gender equality, while the narrative within contradicts its own message. (Not so much sending a different message, but more just negating the intended message.)

But more important than having an inconsistent message, it unintentionally shines a light on humanity’s selfishness. How, even at our most giving, we are biased. How we only care about justice when we become the victim. How we only support a cause when we’ve been effected by whatever that cause is fighting.

Look at the main character: where she started, where she ended, and how she got there. Would a different journey have led to the same end? Would she had become an activist if she hadn’t been victimized herself?

Our kindness is merely the result of circumstance.
