The Best

The first three books have been great. It was amazing how the story flowed from one book to another

Tying up loose ends.

Okay, when you go traipsing through time, you are bound to miss each other. So the average person would stay put and wait for the others return. These characters are not the average. So be prepared for a confusing but amusing tale.

Envelopes you in the world of time travel

Time travel has practically become routine for the main characters in the story although they are generally not happy about chasing back and forth to rescue each other. All ends with a Happily ever after instead of a cliffhanger

Possible spoilers in this rant...

I absolutely HATE that Evie and Sam's story was basically ignored in the last couple of books. NOTHING was ever explained as to what happened to them. It was like the author just didn't feel like writing their story and wanted to focus solely on Lachlan and Piper's story. Grrr! I liked Evie and Sam so much more, and truly, I found myself just getting angrier and angrier that the characters just kept skimming over what happened. They just kept saying things like, "not now" and "don't ask." It was ridiculous.

SPOILER: While I'm glad they ended up getting back together in the end, the resolution was bittersweet. We never got to know any details about what happened. Frankly, I think the author was just plain lazy about that part of the story and wrote the characters doing and saying things that were in general, out-of-character.
