About this listen
Deadly secrets, liberating love: Shame in Somerset reaches the heights of wanton seduction and depths of willing submission in the countryside of Regency Era England.
Henry’s heart has long been devoted to Olivia, his sister's dearest friend, and Olivia has always loved Henry–like a brother.
Olivia Danville witnessed a passionate seduction at a formative age, and her unexpected education stirs wanton desires which would make her treasured friend, the handsome and valiant Henry, despise her.
With her father called to duty against Napoleon, Olivia’s mother asks Mr. Seldon, the new vicar with the face of an angel, to counsel the young debutante in preparation for matrimony. He shall ready her for a deeply satisfying wedding night, until she discovers he plans to rule her life–or ruin it!
Henry Whittaker refuses to marry for money, although, as the heir to an ancient viscountcy, he is expected to marry someone. Olivia is the true lady of his heart, but he will first have to prove himself capable of being an excellent husband. When a seductively mysterious widow offers her wisdom, Henry will learn far more about love than he planned.
Divided by their scandalous secrets, Olivia and Henry must discover the truth to find redemption in a love they were destined to share.
Shame in Somerset is the first installment of Ecstasy in England, a series of deliciously libertine historical erotica novels!

slow start but great ending
The first chapters were tedious. Half way through, however, the plot became interesting. The ending was a complete surprise.
