Publisher's summary

Wrapped in red-hot lust for revenge, Avery plots to murder the man responsible for the death of her son.

Her plans are dashed when her ex-husband crashes her wedding and whisks her away on his motorcycle to the rustic Canadian wilderness cabin where they'd once honeymooned.

Police detective Mason is fighting for Avery's love with everything he has.

Armed with whipped cream, handcuffs and his undying devotion, Mason vows he will make Avery love again.

But it's only a matter of time before the man she'd planned to kill hunts them down...

Second Chance Marriage

I really enjoyed this quick hot number. I could feel the desire and love between the 2 main characters. It has sadness but in the end unfold just like I would have wanted. The narrator did a good job.

Avery and Mason

This is a short story about Mason and Avery who lost their son and their marriage. Avery decides she will get revenge on the drug lord who she feels is responsible for the death of her son by marrying his brother to get close enough to him to kill him. During her wedding ceremony to the brother, her ex-husband, Mason, rides in with his posse, and kidnaps her. The gun she was carrying falls on the floor. They end up at a cabin they visited on their honeymoon and become very close again. Clearly, they still loved each other. Unfortunately, all is not well. The drug lord is on their trail. This was a really good book that I thoroughly enjoyed. Teri Clark Linden did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

not all weddings are as they seem

Revenge can take many unexpected turns. This story sucked me right in and the author did make it a standalone tale. I will keep an eye outfor her other books and should she reprise Mason and Avery in a sequal i would definately read it. Sometimes HEA can turn temporal.

Great Quick Read

Any additional comments?

The Biker and the Bride by Jan Springer was a good quick read. Avery wants revenge on the man responsible for her sons death. Unbeknownst to her, her husband would be the one to whisk her away and save her from getting herself killed. I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by Jan Springer.

Fun and unexpected

Jan Springer did a great job with this novella. I thought the characters were developed enough for the length of the book. Teri Clark Linden did a fantastic job with the voices of various characters. This was the first "erotic" book that I have listened to and I fully enjoyed it. I was voluntarily provided a review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Loved it!

Totally fun, hot and suspenseful, this short novella brings a little of everything to the table. Avery and Mason, divorced, Avery at the alter getting remarried, Mason kidnapping her. But why do you ask, would he do this? Well, love is the main reason. Mason is in love with his ex-wife and plans on stopping her from making the worst mistake of her life. There are things the two of them have to work through, but sex is not one of them. There are some really hot scenes. enough to keep you hooked and listening! The death of their son, and Avery's need for revenge has caused some danger, making his book from start to finish full of action, whether fistfight, gunfight or bedroom there is always something going on. Jan Springer is a new author for me and I plan on looking for other books she has out.

Teri Clark Linden is the narrator of this book. She always brings her A game to her narrations, incredibly talented with her ability to separate her characters with believable voices. She is able to give the inflections and emotions necessary to draw you in and keep you in the story right along with her.
