About this listen

Eva Webb didn't know what she'd find the night she secretly followed her fiancé. She had feared he was meeting another woman.

But it was so much worse than that.

The man she loved betrayed and kidnapped her, packing her onto a truck destined for the black market to be sold to the highest bidder.

But when the vehicle is ambushed, she is delivered into the hands of her fiancé's enemies: mercenary brothers who would stop at nothing to take him down.

For Gabriel and Syn Rivera, hijacking the truck and stealing its cargo was another job, another way of taking back what was stolen from them. Discovering Eva on board was an unexpected bonus. They now held in their grasp the one thing that could bring down an entire organization, making her a pawn in a deadly game - a game in which she'd need their protection to survive.

But that protection would come at a price.

Now captive to the brothers, Eva would learn that they have always shared their women, and she would be no exception. They would keep her safe. They would protect her. They would make her theirs.

But in a world where criminals often wear two faces, where putting your trust in the wrong people can get you killed, will Eva find she has mistaken lust for love, or will this unlikely union survive?

Not her best work

While this could have been a great read. It fell flat because the characters lacked depth and believability. The main female character was just plain weak. It’s was hard to believe given the plot and story line that she fell in love with 2 bothers who spent the vast majority of their relationship treating her like their sexual slave with very little consideration for her feelings or sexual preferences. When they first bring Eva home they don’t even let her wear clothes; telling her it’s a privilege. Honestly, I just couldn’t relate with her or the men in this story and I’m not Squamish when it comes to sex. That being said I have read other work by this author that was well written. Just not this story.

Good, but not Knights best

A little slower and more tame then Knight’s other books. This is for sure a dark romance not a happy sunny one. Keep that in mind when reading other reviews.

Theirs to Take

If you could sum up Theirs to Take in three words, what would they be?

Dark, Intense, Discipline

What was one of the most memorable moments of Theirs to Take?

When Gabriel and Syn whip Eva to make an example out of her for the other girls.

What does Kelly Owens bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings a sense of realism to the story. As if you are hearing the story as told by aves.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Made me cringe when she is spanked and whipped.

Any additional comments?

This was a really great book. It touches on the human trafficking issue. Wonderful dark romance.

New Twist on a Menage

The cover had me instantly wanting to read this without even looking at the blurb. Once reading the blurb, I thought it seemed like like a new twist on the genre. I was definitely right in with that thought. Natasha put a new twist on MFM menage with the twists this story took. It has all the sexy times you would hope for in a book like this but there is also so much more. There is a real story behind the sexy which takes this from typical to amazing! There were a few parts that did not sit well with me but they did not take away from the overall book.

The narration was good, Kelly Owens did great with the different POVs.

Steamy! Good story ruined by TSTL heroine

Narration was excellent. However, I found the actions of the girl in the story to be annoyingly stupid. She's a captive who's had the rules clearly explained and she continuously repeats easily avoided transgressions that get her beaten. Idiot! I'm not talking about escape attempts (those are understandable although first was stupid because no thought put into any plan) but other small things that were unnecessary.

Beware: there is some light BDSM-ish activity involving pain. Not for the squeamish.

Enjoy this story.

From start to finish I really enjoyed this book. I thought the narrator did a really good job with the voices.

Foolish Leading Lady

I’m sorry but Eva was incredibly foolish and annoying. Definitely my least favorite heroine of Natasha’s
