Ana Ballabriga and David Zaplana met in Valencia (Spain), when he was studying telecommunications engineering and she was studying psychology. They soon discovered that they shared the pleasure of reading and writing, and at that time they began to put together their first novel. After receiving some awards for stories, in 2007 "The sun of Cartagena" was published, and in 2010 "Morbo gótico". In 2016 they won the Amazon Literary Award for their novel "The dark circus", and in 2018 they published "La paradoja del bibliotecario ciego". In 2019 they delved into the romantic mystery with "Soy Rose Black". In 2021 they have won the "IV Auguste Dupin Noir Novel Contest", with the title "El deseo eterno", which will be published in 2022. With "La profecía del desierto" they once again combine adventure and historical mystery.
