Food is needed to live, but it is also something that can be enjoyed and can be an event. A meal can be something to remember and savor. And while I can get really, really, really nerdy about food and computers, you cannot forget to have fun. My love of food and popular culture has culminated in a passion for bacon AND chocolate and is the fire that sparked the books we have produced. While I love bacon, I also enjoys home canning, innovating my homemade pizzas, feeding my 30 year old pet sourdough yeast and home brewing. Oh... scotch. Cannot forget about scotch. Outside of cooking, I spend my days as a software engineer, reading comic books, getting geeky about Star Wars, trying to make it to the gym to work off all the delicious food and makes sure to enjoy it all. I live in Fargo with my lovely wife, Ashley,and three cats I lovingly calls “cat.” Life is too short to not try and do the stuff you want to do. Do that stuff.
