Ever since I was a little girl, I've been drawn to folklore and fairytales. I used to beg my grandmother to tell me ancient stories passed down through generations. I would get lost in worlds of mythic creatures, epic quests, and magical lands. This childhood fascination grew into a calling to preserve these timeless narratives.
After completing my PhD in Folklore Studies I taught university courses on fairytale analysis, oral tradition, and comparative mythology. My students say my lectures brought old stories to life in exciting new ways.
Outside of sciense, I dedicated myself to field research to study folk narratives in their original context. My true passion has always been making ancient folklore accessible to modern readers. I've published over 30 collections of myths, fairytales, and legends from around the world. I take care to retain the magic and cultural authenticity of the stories while adapting them for today's audiences.
In recent years, I've focused on self-publishing through Amazon, allowing me to reach more readers hungry for timeless tales passed down through generations. To my delight, my books have become surprise popular, appearing on several Top Folklore and Fairytale lists.
I retain a sense of wonder about the folklore I've devoted my life to. I continue collecting little-known tales, curating them in new books to ensure these stories endure for future generations. The child in me still feels the same enchantment I did long ago.
