Laura Katleman - Getting Skinny With Skinny Thinking Author of Skinny Thinking; Skinny Thinking for Men; The Skinny Thinking Workbook; Skinny Thinking Daily Thoughts; Skinny Thinking Chew on This; Food, Freedom and Truth and The Mind Body Reset. Laura attended the Counseling Psychology program at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and received a Certification in Transpersonal Psychology from the Theravision Institute. Her interest in and subsequent work in compulsive eating, chronicled in her seven books, grow out of her own experience with weight loss and food addiction. She discovered that the root of her problem was the way she thought about food. In fact, changing her diet was irrelevant, if she didn't change her thinking habits. By teaching herself to go on a "thought diet" and transform her relationship with food, she experienced permanent healing. Laura currently serves as a Dr. Oz Expert in the ShareCare Network and leads workshop in the philosophy of Skinny thinking to help others heal their relationships with food. A long-time meditator, she has been teaching meditation and self-inquiry since 2006.
