Mark Forstater (born 1943, dying daily) was brought up in Philadelphia, and moved to England in 1964 to attend Manchester University. After returning to Philly to get his BA at Temple University, Mark returned to Manchester and has lived in the UK ever since. A successful and award-winning film producer (Monty Python and The Holy Grail and 30 other productions), Mark has also turned his hand to TV, radio and audio production. His first book, The Spiritual Teachings Of Marcus Aurelius (2000), was so successful in hardback that his publishers asked for a series, and so The Spiritual Teachings of Seneca, The Spiritual Teachings of The Tao, The Spiritual Teachings of Yoga, and The Living Wisdom of Socrates all followed. Recently he has written a guided meditation for the financially stressed called The Age Of Anxiety, and I Survived A Secret Nazi Extermination Camp. His new book is The 7th Python to be published January 2016.
