Paul A Kiewiet has spent a career building brands. He founded a sales promotion agency in 1982 and worked with some of America’s most beloved brands including Elmer’s Glue, Krylon Spray Paints, Kel- logg’s, Coca Cola, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Borden, Hush Puppies, Rocky Shoes and Boots, Wyler’s, Soup Starter, RainDance, Kroger, Dow- Brands, Tobler-Suchard, Mentos and many more. He was active in the point of purchase, premium incentive and promotional products indus- tries. Paul served on the board of directors of the Promotional Products Association International and was chairman of the board of directors in 2007-2008. He is a Certified Incentive Professional, Master Advertising Specialist Plus, and Certified Life Coach. Kiewiet was inducted into the Michigan Promotional Professionals Hall of Fame in 2010 and into the Promo- tional Products Association International Hall of Fame in 2015. A fre- quent and popular speaker and educator, industry consultant and coach he authored the chapter on promotional products in Enterprise Engagement—The Textbook. His magazine articles were recognized with the EXCEL Award from the Society of Non-Profit Association Publications and the prestigious FOLIO award. Kiewiet has been honored for creativ- ity and results with fourteen Pyramid Awards from PPAI, two ASI Spirit Awards including Marketer of the Year. Kiewiet has also won the Presi- dent’s Award from the National Premium Sales Executives and a Golden Key Award from the Incentive Manufacturers Association. He has reached millions of marketing professionals emphasizing the importance of connecting with important values in order to create value in the marketplace. From Bogotá to Beijing, Dusseldorf and to hundreds of audiences around the country, Kiewiet is in high demand as a speaker, coach and consultant. His articles have appeared in numerous business publications and podcasts of his presentations have been featured on CBS Radio, the American Marketing Association, and on USAirways Sky Radio. He has been quoted in Fortune, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, B2B Magazine, Kiplinger Newsletter and Wired magazine. He has been trained in Gallup University on positive emotions and Marcus Buckingham-trained for strength-based alignment. He has served as a trustee, board member and/or officer of the Forum for People Performance Management and Measurement at Northwestern University, National Premium Sales Executives, and the Association of Incentive Marketing. In addition to speaking, writing, coaching and consulting, he is the Executive Director of the Michigan Promotional Professionals Association. Paul lives in Grand Rapids, MI and enjoys biking, hiking, pickle- ball,fishing, stand-up paddleboard,skiing, music, arts and Lake Michigan. He loves to travel and explore and has been to six of the seven con- tinents—only Antarctica remains on his bucket list. He has completed twenty 26.2-mile marathons, climbed 103 stories to the top of Willis Tower and survived a Warrior Dash. He and his wife have stand up pad- dle boarded the five Great Lakes, annually run the 8-mile Mackinac Island Run, went diving in the Great Barrier Reef and climbed Mt. Ararat. They summited Mt. Kilimanjaro and traveled the world. In 2019, he and his wife and mother-in-law walked up the entire state of Michigan from Indiana to Canada. Paul believes that when you connect people with their higher purpose you can drive them to amazing performances and prosperity. His “why?” is to inspire and challenge people so that we can realize our full potential.
