For 30 years, I served as a fulltime State Chaplain for the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation before embarking on this journey of authorship. After intimately experiencing incarcerated humanity at its worst as a Chaplain, I knew within my heart that upon retirement I would have to write books that contribute to the prevention of crime and family dysfunctionality, in addition to authoring material that advocate healthy eternal spiritual identity as a solution. After personally interviewing over 170,000 incarcerated men throughout my thirty-year career, I was convinced that healing, wholeness, and healthiness, begins at a spiritual level first - prior to manifesting materially or physically in one’s life, or lifestyle.
Each of the books I have authored promote spiritual awareness as the pre-requisite for ultimate personal satisfaction and fulfillment of life-purpose. Each book identifies attributes of our spiritual identity and our eternal relationship with God, Who is the Source of all wholeness, ultimate meaning, health, and ultimate evolution of human existence. I am an evangelical Christian; therefore, I personally understand biblical relationship with God through Jesus Christ. However, God, Who is eternal and infinite in Being, is never reduced, or limited to just a Hebrew-Jewish perception of Divinity. Since God is globally the Author and Finisher of mankind’s existence, and has infinite healing and wholesome ways of communicating, connecting, and companioning His non-Jewish children as well, then it is encouraging to know that all of us are valuable to God, regardless of our personal beliefs about His divinity.
My prayer is for each book I have authored to inspire growth in spiritual awareness within the heart of everyone who reads them in sequential order (1.Heavenly Earth, 2.Introduction to Eternal Living Now, 3.Eternal Living Now [Intermediate level] and 4.Scriptural Eternality), The expansion of “this little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine,” to “this little light of ours, we’re going to let it shine, let shine, let shine, let it shine,” is the desired outcome for all who complete the Series on Eternal Living in our present NOW!
