Born and raised in Wolfsburg, Germany. As it is obligatory for a true Wolfsburg native, I went to the local VW Group as an apprentice. The training there as an industrial electronics technician sparked my interest in the field of electrical engineering. After that, I was studying electrical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hanover.
In my free time, I have been passionately involved in playing the electric guitar and I like to experiment with self-built effects pedals.
I built my first fx pedal out of necessity, so to speak. I saw a video in which Philip Sayce (one of my guitar heroes) introduced the stompboxes on his pedal board and among other things he used a treble booster. Hooked by the sound I wanted, no, had to (!) get such a pedal in my possession. However, my search for the device revealed that this pedal is no longer available on the market. So, what to do? There was only one solution: I had to build it myself. And so the story took its course ...
