If all you've read are the headlines, or a brief spot on the TV, you only know the tip of the iceberg of this still inexplicable story. Listen, and you will understand: you don't know what you don't know.

I'm sure this is just scratching the surface. Commiserations to the Maxwell's on Gislaine's upcoming 'suicide'

I think it was decent. not tons of new stuff but some interesting less well known tidbits put together with some interesting context. I dont think this woman simply wants to milk this for her own benifit, she does seem genuinely passionate and serious about this topic. Its not ground breaking but I think for the less well informed this is a good listen and I think she did good continuing to cover this when most people have already forgotten about Maxwell and all the rest of it.

not a total waste of time

...but in a good way. Sort of. The narrator's voice is very pleasant. It's easy to listen to her for hours (that is, if you can handle listening to disgusting details of Epstein's assaults on various young women... oops, I mean children.) to the point where I finished the entire podcast in one day. She begins by explaining how her research into Epstein evolved into a sort of relationship with the man himself, and subsequently with Ghislaine Maxwell. She describes how Epstein, charming and cunning, was able to make a puppeteer out of anyone, even her. Epstein was a mastermind in manipulation, and even she was caught up in his fervour. This brave journalist tried to crack the Epstein case almost a decade ago, blow it wide open for the public to know what was really going on on Epstein's Island. However, the mogul of course had ties and made it very clear that if anything was printed with negative assumptions, that her career -and possibly her life- would be in jeopardy.

Thank you. Thank you for being so brave and trying to make this story known so many years ago. Thank you for doing years of research and not letting this story go. Thank you for your dedication. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been to be threatened, while pregnant, by Epstein.. to have your unborn babies' lives threatened by such a deplorable man. You're crazy for standing up to him!
