Resumen del Editor

When three gorgeous chefs decide they want to expand their restaurant right into my boutique next door, things start to heat up.
In more ways than one.

With big dreams and bigger egos, three sinfully handsome restaurant owners are out to grow their culinary empire.
Problem is, my little pet store is right in their way.
But I’m not going down without a fight.
I don't care how hot they are.
Or how they look at me with hungry eyes.

As I prepare to tell them where to shove their snail caviar, I realize have two options.
Kiss my pet paradise goodbye…
Or jump into the boiling water with these insufferable heartthrobs.

I find that love and war simmer at the same steamy temperatures.
The question is, can this girl stand the heat without getting singed?

This slow-burn why choose romance features a plucky main character with multiple love interests. If you like to indulge your secret bad-girl side, this is the book for you.

Enjoyed the story, narration was just OK

3.5 Stars

I enjoyed the story in this one, it was spicy and fun and quick.

No hesitation on anyone's part to jump in a share, the weirdness happens along the way thanks to the external conflict that is the developer trying to take down the neighborhood so they can build and make money.

I feel like there were a lot of threads in the story that could have gone places but they didn't. But not every story is going to be a full meal, sometimes you're craving a bag of chips and this totally delivers on the yummy snack vibes.

The narration for the audiobook was a little flat for me. I was into the mystery, the drama so I stuck around but if I wasn't in the mood for a spicy junk food story in that moment, I probably would have shelved the audio. The male narrator, Wen Ross, had some wonderful tones in his voice, however he had 3 male leads and I couldn't tell them apart half the time. The female narrator, Kai Kennicott, gave me some good emoting and variety, but it wasn't enough to make up for the confusion in the male POV chapters.

This one just didn't hit for me.

I requested and was provided with a copy of the audiobook. These are my honest opinions.
