“Would you like to come over,” Desmond Grey asked as he stood in his doorway. He raised one eyebrow as he stared at his neighbor. “I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Tygian said as she tried to keep her hands from shaking. A slow, sensual smile spread across Desmond’s lips. He knew she was about to wet her pants. And, she knew he knew. Yet, he was standing there like a Greek god dipped in creamy milk chocolate tempting her. Tygian wanted to slap the smile right off of his face. “Okay…if you’re sure,” Desmond taunted as he put his hands on his hips emphasizing the fact that he was shirtless and draped only in a white bath towel…a bath towel that was hanging dangerously low on his thighs…a bath towel that was emphasized the trail of thick, black hair that ran down his center. Shit! Tygian hated the smug, sexy bastard. “I’m…I’m sure,” Tygian said as she turned and began walking back into her apartment. “Chicken” Tygian gasp as she heard the words. She turned around and glared at her neighbor. He was still standing there…still smiling…still looking sexy as hell. “What did you say?” Tygian asked. “You heard me right. I said you are chicken. You’re scared, and you know you’re scared. Just admit it,” Desmond dared. “I’m not scared,” Tygian said frowning. “Oh?” Desmond asked raising an eyebrow at her. “No. I’m not,” Tygian said crossing her arms in an attempt to keep her taunt, dark nipples from showing through the pale pink t-shirt she was wearing. She hadn’t bothered to put on a bra. Hell, she was at home…at home alone. “Then, why don’t you come inside,” Desmond offered again. He stepped aside to give her access to his apartment. “I don’t think…,”Tygian began. “Like I said. Scared,” Desmond said. His lips curled into a wicked smile. “You gone spend another night alone over there? All by yourself. All alone on Valentine’s.” Tygian never liked to back down from a challenge. And, Desmond was definitely challenging her. Valentine's Day was definitely NOT a holiday meant to be spent alone. But, that's just what Tygian Arnold was planning on doing until her sexy, next-door neighbor decided to make her an offer she found shamefully hard to refuse...
