The obviousness of the plot bites into the thrill, the thinly drawn, wooden characters, are cliches of cliches. The villain is a mustache-twirling Snidely Whiplash, The book is unnecessarily long due to vapid metaphors. Everything is the best, the most super, the most incredible except the chips which accomplished the best-fried cod, fish and chips meal. I already know what's going to happen halfway in. No need to k
