Excellent story, complex characters, thrilling action, and dynamite narration! What else could you ask for? Other than book 3, of course!

I am a huge fan of the Jason Trapp series and was lucky enough to get a promo code for the newest book from Mr. Slater! This story hits the ground running and doesn't stop! The action is tight and believable and there are more than enough twists and turns to keep you guessing.

Fans of Reacher, Bourne, Rapp, Gentry, and Trapp will really dig Ryker!

Can't wait for the next in the series.

This is my first Steven King book but it will not be my last. I've always been a fan of adaptations of his works but for some reason or another never picked up any of the books. I'm very glad I decided to change that.

Better reviewers than me have expounded at length about Mr. King so I won't say much other than wow, there is little doubt as to why he is one of the most lauded living writers, he is a master of the artform.

Speaking of masters of the artform, Seth Numrich's narration is top notch. His often understated delivery is the perfect vehicle for Mr. King's prose.

If you, like me, have managed to not delve into the King oeuvre, this is a perfect place to jump in. I very much look forward to consuming more works by Messrs. King and Numrich!!!

Jason Trapp is back in his fourth adventure, and as always, the stakes are high, the action is intense, and the story is frighteningly plausible.

Slater has a real talent for writing potboilers, and Depth Charge delivers on a global level. The antagonists are truly chilling, and we get some more fun support characters for Trapp that I hope will make more appearances down the line.

Garkusha once again does a more than admirable job keeping the myriad characters distinct and well-defined and has a real knack for narrating the nail-biting action that Slater writes so well.

Let me first say that I am a big fan of this series so far! I have very much enjoyed the first two books, but I feel that it begins firing on all cylinders here in the third one! I LOVED the Italian chapters! According to his website, Slater is an avid traveler himself, and he uses his own experiences to inform his descriptions of the setting. You really feel like you are in the Tuscan countryside or zipping along the ancient streets of Florance.

The villains in this foray are also great. Slater gives us some delectably evil characters, a few of whom could carry a book themselves! In fact, my only gripe with this book is that we didn't get enough time with a certain odd couple pair of Russian hatchet men...

The narration continues to fit the story like a glove. Mr. Garkusha has the perfect voice to complement the cinematic nature of the story and Mr. Slater's writing style. Garkusha gives the many characters distinct and expertly fitting voices and seems right at home with the many Russian accents on display in Flash Point, which isn't very surprising given his surname.

All in all, Flash Point is another winning entry from Messrs Slater and Garkusha, and I am anxiously awaiting the fourth installment, which I hope will be coming out soon!

If the cover grabs you, this one does everything it says on the tin.

It hasn’t aged exceptionally well, but it hasn’t spoiled either.

If you’re a fan of true crime docs like I am, you’ll love this book!

Tony Cerminaro gives each character such a unique voice and his ability to weave the emotional journey of his main character, Mike Angelini, into the gripping plot is truly masterful.

Mark Garkusha did a great job bringing the characters to life. The first person narration by Mike made it feel like you were really going along with him on his investigation.

Again, if you like true crime docs and are looking for some great crime fiction, give this one a listen!

While tying up the loose ends of his first adventure, Jason Trapp finds himself in the middle of a sinister plot to throw the whole world into chaos. Luckily he's got some help this time in the form of Eliza Ikeda, a brilliant CIA operative.

Speaking of great team-ups, Jack Slater and Mark Garkusha once again come together to knock this one out of the park. Slater's cinematic writing style is complemented perfectly by Garkusha's delivery and acting.

I highly recommend this audiobook and am anxiously awaiting book three!

Jason Trapp is a hero in the tradition of Jason Bourne and Jack Reacher brought to life by the excellent writing of Jack Slater and and narration/acting of Mark Garkusha. Seriously, the writing and narration work together to make for as cinematic and exciting an audiobook experience as I have ever had!

Fans of Tom Clancy, Vince Flynn, and David Baldacci will love this terse and scarily realistic thriller.

An intriguing premise very very well realized. Superworld will make a great movie, I’m sure. Krieger knows how to spin a yarn and he weaves this one expertly, imbuing his superhuman characters with real human soul.

The narrators do a great job bringing the already three dimensional characters to life.

Even fans outside the genre will find something to love with this one, if I could give more stars I would!
