I loved having Troy back - this was a home coming of many of Lawtons most memorable characters This was one of my favorites Showed many of them in more depth

Disappointing,; worth the listen if you are a fan

So many times listening to this I found myself thinking - really ? I am a long term Louise Penny fan and I love Paris ,but I found this book disappointing - even dragging at points. Excellent narrator. I'm quite willing to suspend bebecelief - but this pushed my limits. Maybe they just need to get back to Quebec. I had never found the character's trite or even unbelievable before.

Swept away by the story

I don’t want to give this story away - I enjoyed the journey too much. The Narrator was perfect I felt like I was hearing the author speak her book. It conveyed well the everyday ness of spying - how it would infiltrate a life - How you could just slip into it. I wish I nee more about Juliet’s later life - about the child she had. I was sorry for this book to end

I was initially put off by the very vivid, extreme violence, but found myself drawn in. Lots of twists and turns, up to the end. The stories, many years apart, , were very skillfully woven , slowly together.. Characters skillfully developed, revealing more about themselves. Interesting bits of history I highly recommend this .

So my question is - will Gabriale Allon series continue now that Allon is the chief.
Chilling contemporary plot. Sometimes hard to remember this is fiction

Suburb story And Narrator

Gives such a picture of time and place. I admire the way the person telling the story is able to recount her past actions and thoughts looking forward to her next book. Glad there ismore

Book absorbing and thought provoking, narration i

This book felt like a meander through Oliver Sack's life. What a thought provoking pleasure. Opened up many things to think about as well as being very entertaining. The barrator detracted greatly from the experience mispronouncing words and names Disappointing and surprising given audibles usual quality. Am hoping that other Oliver Sacks books have a different narrator if not will read tgem
