Martina and Mitch
Revisado: 03-26-25
I really enjoyed this story, I like it when someone who never expected to find their perfect partner/mate does.
Martina and Mitch’s story takes just under four hours to listen to and I listen to it in one setting. It is very well performed by Ellie Sonali and Mick Fanning who bring the characters to life beautifully.
The story starts when Martina is going home to celebrate her 30th birthday with her family when her car breaks down. Mitchell aka Mitch an old school friend comes to her aid and immediately recognises the fact that Martina is his mate, but she is in denial, why?
What happens next makes for a very entertaining and interesting listen with lots of heat and sizzle.

Historia
So many illusions crumbled when death touched Eleanore Wright. She ran away from the ruins of one life toward the ruins of another. When she discovered that her husband and grandmother both died on the same day, maybe the same hour, a series of events were set in motion that would change her life forever. Nothing in the world was what it seemed. She ran to a place from her past and found a stranger there, with scars, a hammer in hand, and stains on his boots. Will she find peace within the house’s peeling paint, dusty rooms, and mysterious sounds?

Romantic Suspense
Revisado: 03-24-25
This is my first book by this author and I have to say I really enjoyed listening to it. It's smooth-flowing ad well- balanced and has interesting characters who are well-developed and not just the main characters but all of them. The supernatural element of the story was skillfully woven into theinteresting storyline.
No spoilers from me but I will say that this story is well worth listening to.
The narraiob by Candace Joice was well don and she did a good job with all the multiple voices.

John and Bree
Revisado: 03-16-25
Fans of paranormal romance will enjoy this story It has vampires, witches and shifters and tells the story of John, a wolf shifter and Bree, a twenty-two-year-old born and raised in a small Pennsylvanian town. Bree has no idea that the supernatural world exists. She's in a relationship with her long-time boyfriend and working hard to obtain her forensic degree so she can then work in the local police department.
Then, suddenly, in a single night, everything changes; she discovers her boyfriend is a cheat, and they break up. Then she finds John, nearly dead and decides to take him to the hospital. But even injured, she can't help but notice just how hot and built this handsome, sexy stranger is. It's a meeting that will change her life forever. I just love the snark and verbal dialogue between John and Bree; it adds humor to this supernatural thriller.
The author has written a story that has action, mystery, drama, passion, chemistry and romance, excellent world building and I well-drawn characters. It's fast-paced and quickly had me hooked.
The narration by Sean Leyden is well done; it is the first time I have listened to him, and overall I felt he did a good job bringing the characters to life.

Historia
As an ambassador for the dragon-shifter monarchy, Prince Kane is well aware of his responsibilities. The shifters might have expelled the evil Federation from their planet and freed their alien prisoners, but they're left with chaos and opposing factions threatening civil war. This is not the time for Kane to be thinking about romance, especially with Nova, a daredevil leader who rattles his calm and tempts his inner fire. The rousing woman's ideas go against everything he and his people are trying to accomplish.

Kane and Nova
Revisado: 03-15-25
This book tells us about what happens between dragon shifter, Kane and Nova, a human, after the Federation departs. Kane's a prince a member of the monarchy, an ambassador representing the Draigs and Vars, whilst Nova represents the rebel inhabitants of Shelter City.
The Federation is gone, and the Cysgod people are free, but things are chaotic; no faction trusts another, which means there could be a civil war. Amidst this fraught atmosphere, Kane and Nova find themselves feeling attracted to each other, but each of them is from a different group, and there is so much hostility around them. The simmering attraction between Kane and Nova makes this an interesting story, full of action, drama and a steamy romance.
The narration is provided by Michael Ferraiuolo who brings it to life beautifully

Sam and Gabriel
Revisado: 03-15-25
Any lovers of romance and sexy scenes will find themselves falling in love with this story of love and hate. The characters are well-developed and interesting. I enjoyed the love story as well as the supernatural elements.
I liked that the love/hate relationship between Sam and Gabriel shines through. It kept me interested, and I loved how their sexual frustration between the two main characters built as did their daily frustration with each other. I did find myself enjoying the tug-of-war love between Gabriel and Sam, it is what kept me listening until the very end of the book.
The narration by Christopher Branam is well done.

Historia
What to do when the male "escort" you hired to take your virginity turns out to be a jaded billionaire playing games with your body... and your heart? As a card-carrying Good Girl, I'm the last person anyone would expect to end up in a "Reverse Pretty Woman" situation... I'm the sweet, shy one, not the type to hire an escort to show her the ropes in the bedroom. I'm also not the type to lie to my family, sneak away to New York City for a week of no-holds-barred pleasure, or enjoy being told what a "good girl" I am when I get down on my knees for a gorgeous, commanding older man.

Anthony and Maya
Revisado: 03-14-25
My review is written after listening to the wonderfully presented audio version of this book, The narration is performed by C J Mission, who is wonderful as Anthony, the billionaire who has reached a point in his life where making money is just not enough and Lili Valente as Maya the woman from Maine who wants to lose her "V Card" in a safe and controlled way. Lili is also the author and a brilliant narrator, so who better to bring Maya to life?
I loved this crazy story and was drawn in from the beginning, and didn't want to stop listening until I reached the end. Anthony is a mathematical genius and a billionaire who one day just up and quits his position in the financial world. Maya is a wonderful woman, everybody's best friend but still a virgin. She has dreams of moving to New York City to live and to rid herself of her virginity there with a safe man who has been vetted. They met when they both went to a special club, where the owner Twyla agrees to help Maya and sets her up with Anthony, thinking it's just what they both need. From their very first glance across a library, their chemistry is palpable and hot. I love them together, but what will happen when she discovers that Anthony isn't who she thinks he is?
I loved this book, have loved the whole series, and have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

Historia
With the entire hunter community reeling from Sahara’s death and the Frost twins ready to implode, I fall ill and look to the council for answers. While Hecate reassures me there is nothing wrong, I feel there is more going on as we search for a hidden temple belonging to the dark witch. When Mardella steals another artifact, we begin to theorize what she has in store for us and the demon king, and it doesn’t bode well for either realm. But the demon king fears the dark witch more than we do, and he sends a horde of demons to destroy everything in their wake.

I have to say, I’m really enjoying this series. Every time I finish a book, I can’t wait to listen to the next; they are compulsive listening.
Each instrument is well written with characters who are well drawn, the story itself is imaginative and original, and I can’t wait to listen to the next book
The narration by Katie Hagaman is very good. She brings each character to to life and each emotion to the fore.

Penny and Knight
Revisado: 02-25-25
L Steele is one of my favourite authors, I love her writing style and the way she makes you feel every emotion the characters do. She can reduce me to tears and then have me laughing out loud. Her characters are always so well drawn and the stories are always an emotional rollercoaster ride I don't want to get off.
I felt so many emotions whilst listening to this book, sadness, humour, anger and frustration there were so many times I wanted to jump up and bang their heads together. Penny is such a lovely character, she may be submissive when it comes to sex with Knight but the way he treated her and she let him, made me angry. I know Knight had his demons to contend with, what he had suffered as a POW was terrible but treating Penny that way was wrong.
Thankfully Penny grew a backbone and stood her ground something that had to happen if Knight was going to heal. something he did thanks to the love he and Penny shared. If you love lots of heat and spice then this book should appeal to you. I did so love the surprising ending.
The narration by Aure Nash and Shane East is excellent, and so moving, they bring these two complex characters to life.

Loved It
Revisado: 02-12-25
Piper Stone has done it again, with this the second book in the Mountain Men of Danger Falls series she has given us yet another book which is hard to stop listening to. Jagger and Bella's story is well-written and enthralling and lets us tag along on their journey. Both characters are interesting and well-drawn, Bella is a single parent to Cally, and she's trying to start over after escaping her ex-husband Joel but his money and power have a long reach, will she be able to escape it? Jagger is a former assassin who now runs his family’s resort with his brothers.
To find out what happens when Jagger and Bella meet you will need to listen to this one for yourself, what I will say is Joel her ex comes from a corrupt and wealthy family and uses his family's influence to destroy her career as a physician and wrecks her financially rendering her penniless with bad credit. What will Jagger do? Will he and Bella find lasting happiness? This is an excellent story that is character-driven.
The narration by Skyler Morgan is, as always, excellent he and Piper Stone make a great team.

When my childhood best friend asked me to be her bridesmaid, I didn’t realize that meant spending a week on a yacht. With her obnoxious, conceited new friends. Sounds like a trip from hell for a 40-year-old shifter witch—until my inner bobcat zeroes in on her mate on board. The captain just so happens to be a bear shifter, and when primal need draws us closer, I end up getting a private tour of the captain’s quarters.

Jace and Erin
Revisado: 02-12-25
I have enjoyed this series, I like that the characters are more mature, have history and experience and have lived! This book is no exception I enjoyed listening to Jace and Erin's story, it's a story full of love, loyalty, friendship, family, romance and love but that's not all there is also jealousy secrets, chaos and confusion but that always seems to happen at weddings but when you add in a weeklong wedding trip on a yacht an evil witch and a cheating groom chaos is bound to reign.
The love shared by Jace and Erin was genuine and deep, their story was heartwarming too and I liked how close Jace and Ian were and how Jace supported his son. I was so happy that Jsce and Erin had a chance to have a baby together to complete their family.
The narration by D.C. Cole is, as always, well done.
