Like "The Last of Us" but funnier!

Ok so listening to this made me immediately think of "The Last of Us" with a fungal spore infecting the population and turning them into zombies. But it's not your usual zombie story. It's about a regular Joe who finds himself with a bunker designed to withstand the zombie apocalypse but nobody else to interact with. There was some suspense of the "barely escaped the zombies" variety, but mostly it was just casually humorous. The humor didn't seem forced either. The main character waxes philosophical on a variety of political topics, but again in a humorous way. This may turn some people off if you are extreme left or extreme right in your views, but I found it refreshing.

Loved this so much I immediately purchased the next 2 books in the series. Book 1 was the best by far, but the rest aren't bad. Good characterization and the story has just the right amount of suspense.

I really have enjoyed this series so far. It's not "blow your mind amazing" but it's very good. Honestly book 3 got a little boring in parts but books 1 and 2 were great. Enjoyed book 1 the most. The characters are deep and well fleshed-out without going overboard and the story held my interest.

A fairly mediocre story about AI wandering through the universe on a mission to seed another planet with humanity's descendants. I enjoyed it well enough, but I'm glad it wasn't longer than an hour because I was quickly losing interest.

A clever funny story about government bureaucracy

This story is cute. It's lighthearted and funny in a clever way. It may never join the hallowed halls of great works of fiction, but if you need a diversion from your troubles for a few hours give it a try. I laughed out loud multiple times and so will you!

Very scholarly, not entertaining at all.

I wish I had not purchased this and I'm somewhat upset with Audible that I cannot return it. Apparently you can only return books purchased with credits, not money. This audiobook sounds like a scholarly textbook. It's not at all what I thought it was. Recently I purchased some audiobooks on Greek myths and thoroughly enjoyed the stories of heroes and legends. If you are looking for an entertaining read, this is not it. I'm sure the author has done a lot of research and this may be a great scholarly text, but I lost interest after 10 minutes. I stuck with it for about 30 minutes but I just got more bored. I'm sure there will be someone out there who just loves this stuff, but it wasn't for me.

Great fun for fans of supernatural romance!

I always enjoy Molly Harper. "How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf" was better, but this one is good too. Amanda Ronconi's performance is spot on as usual. It's clever and funny, with plenty of romance but nothing graphic. It's good clean fun!

I liked this story very much, but as usual with the 2nd book in a series, I didn't think it quite measured up to the first. Can't wait for the next one in the series!

OK, so probably this won't ever become a literary classic. But if you love a good supernatural romance you can't go wrong with Molly Harper. Her works are always well written, the plot moves quickly, you really care about the characters, and there is plenty of humor.

I enjoyed "How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf" and it was fun to see some of the same characters again. However, you don't have to read the previous book to enjoy this one. It's not a sequel. This book tells the story of some of the peripheral characters from the other book, and is a stand-alone story all by itself.

Amanda Ronconi (narrator) is great as usual. She always has a pleasant and upbeat tone. She keeps the reader interested and the story moves along quickly.
