True to his nature we are shown Prof. Moriarty of Sherlock Holmes’ fame as he rise from criminal consultant to underworld notoriety and leader of his organization. His wit and cunning does surpass Sherlock’s. While James Watson’s cameo appearance, was intriguing.
This was a compilation of gravity defying short stories that were well read, holding the audiences’ attention. The last involving Sunderland was my favorite, with pyromaniac Violet coming in a close second. A Must-Listen!!

Many Captivating Novellas! 5***** Spoiler Alert

My favorites were ‘The Invisible Girl/President’, ‘The Firesetting Revengeful Daughter’, ‘The Zombie Apocalypse’, The Egg’, with a theme of ‘Do unto others as you are doing unto yourself!’, ‘The Father with Dementia/The Real Deal’, and the best of the lot,’ Annie and the Real Deal-Annie the Cat’… unbelievably engaging, misleading and climatic!! Rod Sterling and The Twilight Zone connection was a touch of omnipotence… ;-)

Dystopia Beyond Pandemic! 4.25***** Spoiler Alert!

We met X being reawaken consciously, physically, and mentally for the umpteenth time, unbeknownst to us and him, and I had thoughts of ‘The Matrix’ initially. But instead I heard how man’s( woman’s) hubris through ignorance, pompous, and genetic manipulations, destroyed humans, which recently seems like a good thing in saving this planet for the other life forms that co-habitat with ‘us’. Was left with more questions than answers as I listened to this captivating, very short, Audible read! Hmmm!!

Wolf in the Hen House!4.25*****

Mattie, Robo and Cole dealt with abduction and murder of teenage mothers along with their babies’ stolen and sold on the black market combined with fentanyl abuse. The intriguing plot with complex characters weaved into this deceitful laden novel involving the silver fox, cold case Detective Hauck and the ‘trustworthy birthing assistant’ Deidre as they destroyed young lives and attempted to murder Robo and Mattie via fentanyl overdosing.
Great HEA for Mattie and Cole, but still having issues with the narrator’s drone.

Moonflower & Cooper's Alpha Love Tryst! 4.35*****

Mo, escaping her hippie, controlling parents moved to Grundy, Alaska, where she became part of the community as she helped Evie in the diner improving the menu and increasing the income of the business while she and Cooper, runaway alpha werewolf, form their mate bond and conceived a pup. Eli, the acting alpha, was the murdering werewolf, and traitor to the pack take over. Who knew werewolves had PTSD, and they broke the female glass ceiling as Grace became the first female alpha. Mom's parents matured in time to become awesome grandparents. HEA for all including Alan.

Great story with well developed characters! Inclusion into a new community, gender roles, and envy/privilege are topics touched upon. A worth listen!

Brendan &Cordialia's Banshe/TouchPsych Love! 3.5**

Cordelia, a circus psychic with scamming Mommy issues, battled with ancient shape-shifter Walt bent on shifter domination, by opening the rift as Pandora in the Myst-rift box was saved by Bael, Zed, and Brendan. DMessina head honcho of the League got complained upon for lack of sensitivity. So many characters and confusing plots. Yes HEA, and Pandora got what she want adoration and communication with people to unload their worries, men's the rift and is back in her box. Jillian started her world tour of bridging magick paranormal with mundane due to the Kentucky satyrs incident.

Rob and Ingrid's Trust Tryst! 3.25***** Sp.Alert!

Ingrid, a lonely tree nymph with trust and betrayal issues moved into Mystic Bayou to open an ice cream shop, set up her diary farm with happy cows, and her new home by replanting her ash tree. Rob smitten by her as she willow - whipped Zed for trespassing, attempted to 'woo' her by analyzing her and sappling's /her life force soil by the League's botanists only to have her go ape on him. Jill, Zed, Sonia, Dani, and Bael, intervene to right their budding relationship, ensuring a HEA.

A fair story plot, with fair new characters, Rob and Ingrid, with a theme of learning from the past with out it dictating the future. Listen at your own risk as the plot plus narrator's are 'meh'!

Zed and Dani's Bewitching Love Tryst! 4.75***** Sp

Zed, the bear shifting mayor of Mystic Bayou, met his electrifying , Myst-rift mending mate, Danica, contracted by the League. Zed had to win her over as they overcame her childhood trust /relationship issues. Zed saved her from the life draining witch Laura, who he threw into the rift, while her Grandfather revealed where she inherited her energy wielding from.

Great story plot, characters, and a theme of 'kharma' returning to one tenfold, so be kind. Can't wait to see the Myst effects on Danica and her cub babies with Zed. A paranormal rom-com Must-Read!

Charlotte and Leonard Fae-Cursed Love Tryst! 3.75*

Charlotte, a League travelling midwife/fae, arrived in Mystic to oversee Jillian and Bael's pregnancy. She delivered the metal egg baby with human attributes, while falling for cursed Leonard. HEA with his curse undone, and Danny and Zeb now soon to be parents.
Fair story plot, with uni-dimensional characters, and the narrator's voice so-so. Jessica disappeared from the story, just like that. !?!?

Sonia and Will’s Mystic Tryst! 4.75*****

Sonia, type A mundane, met and fell in love with Will, Selkie shifter medical doctor, who is yet to resolve his childhood parental drama. Despite the setbacks in their relationship, he realizes he wants to be with her after he rescued her from Cole’s clutches at the Myst-Rift. HEA, still awaiting to see how she survived the Rift encounter and if she will mutate later like Phoenix Jillian .
A great story plot and narrators who held ones attention. Awesome paranormal romance novel.
