Jim Dale is simply superb. I am too young to have heard old time radio, prior to TV, listening to Mr. Dale read these books is like hearing a theatrical production. I have listened to all 8 audio versions many times, and I never tire of hearing him read these wonderful books aloud, giving every character her/his own distinct vocal character. Anyone who likes reading Harry Potter books should listen to them as well.

From childhood to age 61– wonderful!!!

I know I read this book as a child and loved it then. And still do, but maybe more so as it was on audible this time. EVERY child should either read, be read to, or listen to audible, of this book. And ditto for adults that are still kids at heart. I listen to books all the time- I really liked the reader.
