Highly unrealistic plot. The ‘teen’ girls are either very good or very evil and at times are more adult than the actual adults

The main character, Maggie, is so problematic that she becomes the most incredibly unbearable and unbelievable farce.

The writing flows as this author can put together a story but that doesn’t mean it’s a good story.

This is the last book I’ll pick up by this author. Once I was excited to read their work but not anymore.

Dumb but goofy

I think the narrator is the only reason I stuck it out till the end.

The story is goofy and lighthearted at times but has some problems with development.

Happy ending galore even with a family of dumb azz murders. The youngest sister is the worst and I'm sure I'm supposed to empathize with her story, I just couldn't.

The instance romance was gawd awful and was strictly to give the youngest sister something, anything to make her less pathetic.

I read it twice (back to back)and I literally don’t remember it. I do remember falling asleep several times. I had it up to 1.75 speed and it still felt like I was drunk reading

Trope filled for the hopeless

Another fantasy filled romance for the faint of heart. Perfect for those who want to escape reality and find HEA to warped their egos.

You get- love at first sight, enemies to lovers, destiny, Romeo/Juliet family, rich vs poor, social indifference, Unrequited love, and a few more.

Best of all, you get it twice because it’s also a story within a story.

Force to read because it was book club pick but love to hate it

Dragons, Deals and Detroit

Whodathunk this would be as entertaining as it was. I think it really depends on the audiobook narrator, Emily Woo, she really took the story up a notch. I will continue the series for sure because who doesn’t love a strong female cleaner with daddy…er…dragon daddy issues.

Cheesy and unrealistic

Great if you need happy endings but not to the same caliber as her other book ‘The Comeback’ which I thought was a fun rom com.

The whole unreal conversations at the workplace AND in Dee’s home life was very cringe. I could buy some of the stereotypes being represented but on a whole, total failed unless this was a Sci fi fantasy.
The romance is as cheesy as expected so I can’t hate on it.

WATY TOO MANY REPEAT EPISODES! I guess that’s ok in the sense that means someone isn’t killing someone else and this we have a ‘story to tell’ but for a podcast - sorry ass experience
