This was a cute and cozy hallmark esq holiday romance novella. It’s told in dual pov and is wonderfully dual narrated by Andi Arndt & Aiden Snow. The narration is quick and flows smoothly. The story follows the FMC, Fallon and MMC, Levi. He’s a country boy and she a city girl. He is a X-mas loving lumberjack with a dog named Dasher and whose family owns a Christmas Tree farm. She is a grumpy, journalist who hates Xmas and is visiting the town of Maplewood to write about its holiday festivities, She rents a cabin but unfortunately soon after arriving, she finds out that she was scammed and her cabin rental is in fact owner occupied. Luckily Levi, was understanding and saved her from searching new accommodations during a blizzard. The narrators brought all of the tension, emotion, steam, and banter to life! I just luv a grumpy FMC.

Despite their differences, these two have great banter and sizzling chemistry. As they open up to one another , the holiday spirit begins to work its magic. In fact Levi declares that it’s his mission to make her luv X-mas again and he upholds his mission. They say opposites attract and these two don’t disappoint. My only wish was that this had been a little longer. It ended too soon for me, I was having such a good time.

This story will have you hoping to find your way to Maplewood falls.

This one was so much fun!! I ate up like granny’s homemade pumpkin loaf topped with cinnamon butter.

This was a fallish themed enemies to lovers, age gap, small town romance which had me giggling! The story is told in dual pov and follows the FMC, Oakley and the MMC, Finn. These two were fun from the start. The included tropes added several entertaining and enjoyable moments. Finn and Oakley are complete opposites in every way. She is an artist and he country boy. We all know by now what they say about opposites. These two had great chemistry and it was irresistible.

The dual narration by Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow was a perfect paring to bring Oakley and Finn to life. The banter in this was chef’s kiss and was really fun to listen via audio. I just luv a good grump who can’t resist the sunshine.

This was the perfect cozy read for a beautiful fall day. I devoured this in one sitting. I also can’t wait for book 2. That epilogue set up has me primed and ready!

This is a childhood sweethearts, second chance, small town romance. The story is told in dual pov and follows the FMC, Laney and MMC, Ayden. The story line was fast paced and entertaining. The plot was a bit suspenseful and angsty with a tense father and son dynamic as well as some other story elements that I won’t reveal.
The chemistry between the main characters seemed to pick up right where they left off. Ayden is a great book boyfriend, he was eager to make up for lost time and get to know his child. Laney was unable to resist Ayden’s charms and I don’t blame her because neither could I. He sure knows how to back up his naughty talk and of course I luved that. 🥵

I enjoy the surprise pregnancy trope and this one was fun, cute, and cozy. I enjoyed seeing how Ayden integrated into their lives. Once they were back together, Ayden was determined that they would no longer be separated again.

We are also introduced to the characters in the next book. I’m excited to continue the series.

I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed it. It was dual narrated by CJ Bloom and Bradley Ford. The audio performance and quality was good. The narration was well paced with good vocal performances which matched the characters. The book is a prequel and is a short quick read with fast paced flow. The narrators brought Laney and Ayden’s chemistry to life. Their dynamic and banter was really enjoyable. There were no obvious quality production issues. The narration was without distracting background noise or extra auditory sounds. Overall, I liked this book. This was a good audiobook that I recommend was a cute, fun story, and easy listening.

Sticks and Stones was an enjoyable college hockey dark romance with a hint of suspense. This book was a fun rollercoaster for true fans of enemies to lover. This was a short and quick read which I didn’t want to end. The banter, tit for tat, and cat and mouse antics between the FMC and MMC was one of the best dynamics that I’ve read in several months. I listened to the audiobook. The story is told in dual pov and was well narrated by two narrators. The story line was fast paced, as this is a quick read. This was a steamy read and the love scenes were sizzling. Those who enjoy the writing style of Elle Kennedy’s hockey romances will likely enjoy this as well. This is a dark romance featuring darker subject matters, so please check trigger warnings. Overall, LOVED this steamy college hockey, dark romance!

This is a cozy small town vibes, second chance at love, holiday romance. The story line is great for the holiday vibes with multiple holiday activities infused throughout the story. Despite having a complicated past, the chemistry between the FMC and MMC, Layla and Eric was undeniable. Their relationship development was packed with emotion, pops of humor, and irresistible holiday magic. The story is told in dual pov, but is narrated by a single narrator for those like myself who listen to the audiobook. The audio narration was well done. Speech pattern was fluid with good flow and no distracting background sounds were observed. Overall, liked this read!

Another fun holiday romance from Piper Rayne! This was a quick, cute read with holiday outings which created the holiday vibe that I was hoping for. The FMC, MacKenzie (Kenzie) and the MMC, Andrew start off as enemies after a terrible 1st date. Andrew is a bit of a Scrooge and Kenzie an adamant Christmas lover. They then progress to a secret relationship and eventually become lovers. The banter is always enjoyable, witty, and well written. The story line was cozy and interesting. This is not a closed door romance and there are a few love scenes which are a bit spicy. I listened to the audiobook and it was well narrated from a dual pov by C J Bloom and John Lane. C J bloom is one of my favorite female narrators and she always does a great job. John Lane performance was also well done and his accent was perfect for Andrew. Overall, Loved this read!

Enduring and heartfelt, yet quick listen that show cases the best form of love. I enjoyed the connection and relationship between the FMC and MMC, Emily and Dev. Both characters are kind natured and giving which makes them lovable despite their mishaps and unwillingness to admit their true feeling to one another throughout most of the story. The story line was simple with plot points that typically follow the featured tropes (fake marriage, billionaire lover, and miscommunication). This is not spicy, but does feature love scenes typical in romance novels. The enjoyed the audio narration. The story was duel pov read by a single narrator. The narration was entertaining, well paced, and well read. Overall, I really liked this story.

This is the 1st book in the Millennial series and was my favorite of the three books. This was an easy listen that jumps right into the storyline. I enjoyed the main characters, Jason and Kiara and the development of their relationship. The story incorporates several relevant issues pertinent to the millennial experience including socioeconomic status, education, career advancement and satisfaction. I appreciated the inclusion of such topics because it added a layer of depth to the characters and story line. This made the storyline more realistic and it was easier to connect to the characters. I also appreciate how the story line features a couple within an interracial relationship and includes how familial and social dynamics impact the relationship. The audio narration was of good quality with clear tone and no noticeable distracting sounds. Overall, liked this story!

This is my favorite book of the series. Juneau and Colton’s story was fun and heartfelt with beautiful moments woven in. I have enjoyed their friendship in the backdrop of the other books and couldn’t wait to listen to their story. Piper did not disappoint! Colton’s immense love for Juneau made this story all the more meaningful. If only we all could be blessed with such a strong friendship. It makes a great foundation to a strong relationship. The narration was also well done. It was well paced and the vocal inflections were appropriately incorporated. Loved this story!

This was another fun and quick read with a lot going on. This book includes several story lines which was initially a bit confusing. However toward the middle, the story line clarified making it easier to follow the interconnectedness of the relationships. Overall, I enjoyed the plot, multi- cultural character dynamics, and family drama. The story follows several couples but focuses on the development of Priya and Neil's relationship. I enjoyed these characters and how their relationship unfolded. Shout out to Manny (you will know what I mean once you read the book). The end provided a good intro to the next book which focuses on Karan and Nina's story. I listened to the audio narration of this book. It was well done with good quality vocals. The story flowed smoothly and the narrator paced the story well. I liked this book and recommend it.
