Fun Retro Style Horror

This was such an easy listen. I loved the story, with it's 80s/90s vibe. Characters were well rounded, loved the buddies adventure aspect, but still maintained the horror elements. All of it played well due to the talent of the narrator, who nimbly portrayed youthfulness, age, authority, naivety, while weaving mystery and terror through subtlety and skill. Highly recommend.

This was a fun listen- a good old-fashioned detective story- not too dark and deep, but a great listen about a missing starlet and an increasing number of dead in the early Hollywood era. The narrator is really good- so good at story telling/noir, and character distinction, and some of them I just loved.

What more is there to say? I was already a huge Jemison fan- but what a fabulous story! This fantastical, imaginative love letter to New York has such great writing, and Robin Miles gives the most amazing performance. Flawless!!
